RECORDING 7: THE THIRD WEEK.

A third week in this place begins, with less of your number among you. The final week completely covered by everyone's rations, though with proper meting out, you'll be able to make it stretch until after week 4. It seems as if everyone will have to go without a few meals here and there..

To make things worse, when you wake up - it's clear the Miasma has gotten thicker. Everyone, save those still protected either by their powers or items they brought with them, is now even more deeply affected by the curse. Arguments will be flaring up more, along with negative thoughts and feelings...and even more worrying Is that any magic that touches the house itself will corrode over time. If a barrier is put in place and touches the floor, walls, or ceiling, in half a day it will be completely consumed by the miasma and fizzle out. Spells or seals will also corrode, and even personal healing abilities have been halved.

The Temperature has dropped, just a bit - down to the mid to low 60's. Strange, isn't it? As before,the rooms have changed, so hopefully you kept anything essential in the static area.

Then I'll say it again: I like men. I like kissing men. I like sleeping with men. And while I like keeping such activities private, I feel no shame over them.

It is good, because you should never be ashamed of what you are.

[He finishes tying the belt and looks to WWX. Or...WWX's back, it seems.]

You like men too, don't you? So you shouldn't be ashamed of that either. Even if you're not interested in me specifically, you don't have to play dumb about it to hide who you're attracted to. I won't judge you, and if anyone here gives you grief about it they can get a lecture on it.

[ Does he feel ashamed? Nope. He'll lower his hands from his face as he looks at the wall. It's hard not to turn around, but he has no idea what status Ango is. Waving his hand. ]

I'm not ashamed of anything like that. I just always thought I'd marry a woman some day, but never given it any actual thought beyond that. I haven't been in an actual relationship before. I ah. Never understood what the fuss was all about.

[Ango has discovered that a black hole is not actually the densest thing in the universe. Welp.

He'll just sigh before adjusting his glasses.]

You're young, you have time to figure all of that out. Once we're out of this house and not in a constant life-or-death situation, you should try looking around and figuring out what you like.

[ Who is still young? He feels like he's been through a few lifetimes already ]

What about you? What do you normally like?

[ Since he's nosy and it's interesting to him for some reason. ]

I keep those thoughts private, Wei-kun. They're for me and my partner to know.

[ That's kind of a bummer. He's quiet for a moment before he turns and gives a smile at seeing him like that. ]

See? It definitely looks good on you. Time to head back to the rooms.

[ He'll gather up whatever he needs to drop off at the laundry room afterwards, not quite look Ango in the eyes. ]

I suppose red is a good color on me, then.

[He's quiet for a moment as they gather up the wet clothes to carry to the laundry room, but right as they are about to leave, Ango finally gives up and says something else too:]

I'm not some charming person who can flash a smile and woo a crowd. I can't flirt my way through a dozen dates in a row. I'm a dull government worker who has no interesting hobbies or traits. I know I'm not the right person for most people. So, I don't make any attempts without some kind of sign that the other person is interested. It's not worth the effort to even start to care about someone else when most people end up saying 'sorry, you're too boring for me'.

But if someone were honest and straightforward, and they were to say "I want you to kiss me," I would likely listen.

[ His hand is on the door, and he's about to open when Ango says that. Pausing for a moment as he turns to look at Ango.

Wagging his finger. ]

Aiya, don't sell yourself so short. I don't think you're dull in the slightest.

[ Also what is being honest and straight forward? He has to know what he even wants or feel for that to happen. He does scratch his cheek before he starts to turn back to the door, already starting to open it. ]

Though you've already know I've thought about it. You already know I wouldn't mind kissing you.

'I wouldn't mind kissing you' is not the same as 'I want you to kiss me.' One implies passively existing during the action, while the other involves active participation.

[Just. Pointing that out.]

And furthermore, words that aren't backed up by actions mean nothing.

[ He's a bottom what are you expecting. ]

You haven't said what you wanted or if you would be interested in me.

[He opens his mouth to say something, but he stops. Because WWX is right, Ango never did say anything.]

He stills completely as he feel those lips against his and his heart feels like it's beating quickly. ]

[ Lifting his hands to catch on to the robe Ango is wearing to keep him there. Brushing his lips against Ango's as he tilts his head to return the kiss. ]

Well, this isn't entirely unexpected, but it's also not the first thing Ango expected.

But whatever he'll keep that kiss going for a few moments before pulling away.]

[ Who said he could pull away? He looks dazed for a moment, even if it was just something more innocent.

Then he slowly smiles. ]

I don't know if it is. Maybe you should repeat it a few times just to be sure I have the answer right.

[ Tugging him back closer if he'll let him. Want another kiss? ]
