RECORDING 4: THE SECOND WEEK

A second week in this place begins, with less of your number among you. With first blood - and oil - spilled, it now seems as if it'll only be a matter of time before the worse eventually happens once more. Thankfully, it seems as if the Miasma is content to remain at the same levels it did before, so arguments are unlikely to break out, though tensions are surely high after everything that's already occurred.
Speaking of which, the temperature remains a consistent comfortable early to mid 70's in the house. It appears at least that you'll be here in comfort..? Though it appears that the rooms have changed, so hopefully you kept anything essential in the static area.
Yet, something feels...wrong. The house feels as if it is laughing at you, when you awake...
...What new horrors await you this week?

[Rosa didn't want to do anything, really. She wanted to laze around and let everyone else stumble into traps. But... she had to at least be seen wandering around.
The powder room was a good safe place for her. She made her way there, only to stare in shock once she opened the door.
She recognized the place for what it was. The mansion had a boiler room, and she had been tricked into going in a few times growing up. Her first urge was to close the door, but...
Right, maybe she could find something by investigating.
She stepped inside, eyes glued to that boiler, as if something would jump out.]
Children's Bedroom
[Rosa opened up the door, peeked in, saw what kind of room it was... then shut the door.
The next few minutes would be spent huddling on the wall near the door before she finally pulled herself together.]
Sauna
[We're getting somewhere! That could actually be relaxing... if it wasn't full of something that would kill her, at least. She made a mental note to find someone braver to fool around with it.
This room at least was bringing up happy memories for Rosa, for once, and she lingered around the entrance for a bit.]
Wildcard
[Of course Rosa could also be found in room 5 or in the kitchen, or maybe in one of the hallways if she was intercepted on her way somewhere else.]
Investigation

...That's about it.]

There's hammers, wrenchs, pliers... just your regular old tools from the 1920's. They look as clean as used tools can be, but they are lacking in dust. ]
no subject
The rest of the tools get set on the floor temporarily, just to make sure she doesn't miss anything important, including from turning over the toolbox to see the bottom. Is the toolbox even light enough for her to lift without much trouble?]
no subject
There's nothing on the bottom. ]

She definitely didn't want to touch any of the pipes or metal with her bare hands, but maybe poking around with the wrench wouldn't be too bad? She'll take that wrench with her and start idly poking at things. The walls included.]

Sauna
Aunt Rosa? What is it?
no subject
[She'll go ahead and move out of the doorway so he can see.]
It's a sauna! Finally, a valid place to relax when we need to.
no subject
[He gestures??? Is this like a unisex bath???]
no subject
[Incredulous tone.]
no subject
[He scratches the back of his head.]
And we never stayed overnight during any school trips, so...
no subject
[she gives a relaxed little sigh, vicariously reliving the moment.]
Oh, but the concept for the sauna is simple. You sit in the room and pour water on the coals. Then you just enjoy the steam.
Don't get too excited, though. We can easily set up a bathing schedule.
no subject
[He's still only 18, Rosa!!!]
A-And hey, why would I get excited....? I mean, we'd all be in towels, right? So there's nothing to get excited about!
[This is a lie and he knows it, but he's not admitting it in front of his Aunt because oh god.]
But...I guess a schedule would be best, yeah...
[Don't sound so crestfallen holy shit???]
no subject
...Just a little joke, Battler-kun.

sauna
It's probably better to relax with someone else than by yourself.
[casually spoken from behind her, carrying a few towels]
no subject
[surprised little glance back]
You're... Rin, aren't you?
no subject
[she speaks politely with a small smile]
And that's also right. And you're Rosa-san, correct? Battler-kun's aunt.
no subject
If you're willing to share, I'll gladly take you up on that. We can all use a good excuse to relax.
[Never mind she just came from the boiler room which was also steamy; it was completely different.]
no subject
And I don't mind sharing at all. Although if any of the guys try to barge in, I'll kick them out myself.
no subject
[She's smiling wider now, almost having fun.
And, they step inside? Maybe to make sure there's enough charcoal, water, a sauna ladle and bucket, etc.]
no subject
[she does follow Rosa inside with a sigh, peering in to see what we have]
no subject
[She mirrors that sigh, too.
Anyway, inside! Apparently there is actual charcoal and a stove.]
We need fire, and it'll probably take a while for the charcoal to warm up, but this should actually be usable.
