RECORDING 3: THE FIRST TRIAL

The worst has happened... and now you're all here, in the living room where you first met Todd. As all of you enter, the Vessel is there - glowering at all of you, still missing the arm Dazai shorn from him with his touch.

On one of the tables away from the center is a small enclosed box entitled 'VOTES', with slips of paper nearby and a pen. It's sufficiently away from what will be the 'main' action, but not enough to really give anyone complete privacy as they vote.

Once everyone is inside, the doors automatically shut and lock themselves, leaving you trapped in here with the Vessel...and each other.

One of you is a murderer...however, in this game, the guilty do not need to be voted out. As long as there are enough people voted out that matches the victims...then it will be accepted.

...But, can you really let someone get away with murder...?

The choice...is up to you.

[Ooooh boy. Usually that's him after getting wasted after work, so it's an experience being on the other side of it. It's hard to move much in his position, so he probably can't escape getting hit with at least some of it, although he'll shift to her side to try and give her more room and so he can just. Awkwardly pat her on the back as she lets it all out.

If she looks like she's about to collapse at any point, he'll support her as best as he can too.]

[Yeah that point is coming, her arms grabbing her stomach as she's hunching over in the fetal position... might be a good time keep her from collapsing into more blood]

[Yeah, he's definitely going to be doing that, because taking a dunk into blood and whatever else is now on the floor would almost definitely not improve things. So he'll try to keep her from ducking too low, and move her slowly into a not-quite-upright position. But alright, let's try this again.]

[She can hear him, but she wishes she couldn't. If he looked at her face he'd see her lips moving like a fish. No words will come.]

[Finally a low sort of grunt, groan.]

[Ah. This... kind of reminds of what Mizuki was like before. Not that he can blame Rosa at all, considering everything that happened. He'll let her take her time though, although he'll keep his eye on her for any sudden changes or other signs.]

Try to take a deep breath if you can. ...Do you think you can stand?

[Stand? Did she still have legs? She couldn't feel them... maybe the burning sensations from below where her knees touched the ground were her legs at one point.

At any rate, she softly shakes her head.]

[There's a blink at the items though and while he doesn't protest at unloading her inventory on him, there is a slightly quizzical expression on his face at the whole thing. Still, considering how out of it she seemed, maybe it's better not to ask for now.]

Sure. I'll drop them off at your room later.

[If there's nothing else, he'll do as she asks and turn on the water before leaving.]
