RECORDING 3: THE FIRST TRIAL

The worst has happened... and now you're all here, in the living room where you first met Todd. As all of you enter, the Vessel is there - glowering at all of you, still missing the arm Dazai shorn from him with his touch.

On one of the tables away from the center is a small enclosed box entitled 'VOTES', with slips of paper nearby and a pen. It's sufficiently away from what will be the 'main' action, but not enough to really give anyone complete privacy as they vote.

Once everyone is inside, the doors automatically shut and lock themselves, leaving you trapped in here with the Vessel...and each other.

One of you is a murderer...however, in this game, the guilty do not need to be voted out. As long as there are enough people voted out that matches the victims...then it will be accepted.

...But, can you really let someone get away with murder...?

The choice...is up to you.

It makes me think that...

It makes me think that this was done to mock us. In other words, the killer went through all those extra steps to make a mockery not just of Olympia, but of everyone in this place. Whoever the culprit is doesn't care about getting caught or not. They just want to create a scene and watch us all spin our wheels when the signs are all pointing to an otherwise obvious conclusion.

...Well, that still doesn't answer "why that lamp" and "why that bulb."

That and the revival sigil in the ballroom makes me think the coincidences with Minamimoto-san are stacking higher and higher.

The point is that there is no point. It's just...a nihilist's way of seeing the world. If humanity doesn't matter to him, then a robot would be seen as something even less than that.

He took measures to be revived, anyway, so I guess he wouldn't care if he gets caught.
