RECORDING 3: THE FIRST TRIAL

The worst has happened... and now you're all here, in the living room where you first met Todd. As all of you enter, the Vessel is there - glowering at all of you, still missing the arm Dazai shorn from him with his touch.

On one of the tables away from the center is a small enclosed box entitled 'VOTES', with slips of paper nearby and a pen. It's sufficiently away from what will be the 'main' action, but not enough to really give anyone complete privacy as they vote.

Once everyone is inside, the doors automatically shut and lock themselves, leaving you trapped in here with the Vessel...and each other.

One of you is a murderer...however, in this game, the guilty do not need to be voted out. As long as there are enough people voted out that matches the victims...then it will be accepted.

...But, can you really let someone get away with murder...?

The choice...is up to you.

There was blood on the tip of the screwdriver I found in the ballroom, but that's not indicative of the severity of the wound the culprit suffered on its own. And as far as I know we didn't discover any other blood.

Sho did, but we can't say if it was done during it or after.

He said he drew the sigil after he left the party, but it's not like that excludes the possibility that he did it during the murder.

There are a lot of coincidences that are building up...

...Do you think it's more the culprit slipped while doing the work, or she actually fought back?

Well, there was oil on the handle, so it's hard to say...

I wouldn't say it's impossible their hand slipped while using it, then.

That's the thing—if there's oil on the gloves and the screwdriver and the culprit was using them both, then that means the blood shouldn't be from a hand wound.

You'd only need the gloves when you're dismantling the body though. That would have to come after she was killed.

So then, what about the screwdriver?

The gloves had oil on them, right? Some of it could've transferred when the culprit was holding the handle of the screwdriver.

It'd be hard to disguise a screwdriver wound, anyway. Unless you can get it healed right away the shape will be a dead giveaway.
