RECORDING 3: THE FIRST TRIAL

The worst has happened... and now you're all here, in the living room where you first met Todd. As all of you enter, the Vessel is there - glowering at all of you, still missing the arm Dazai shorn from him with his touch.

On one of the tables away from the center is a small enclosed box entitled 'VOTES', with slips of paper nearby and a pen. It's sufficiently away from what will be the 'main' action, but not enough to really give anyone complete privacy as they vote.

Once everyone is inside, the doors automatically shut and lock themselves, leaving you trapped in here with the Vessel...and each other.

One of you is a murderer...however, in this game, the guilty do not need to be voted out. As long as there are enough people voted out that matches the victims...then it will be accepted.

...But, can you really let someone get away with murder...?

The choice...is up to you.

Once everything has settled, he's going to wordlessly leave the barrier and carefully step through the mess to go pick Olympia's core back out of the evidence pile. ]

[It's like his words don't reach her, though in actuality they're bouncing around inside her head like a terrible echo as she continues to convulse on the ground... just when it looks like she's done and she'll raise herself back up, something triggers another spell and she's back to shaking and crying]

[Ooooh boy. Usually that's him after getting wasted after work, so it's an experience being on the other side of it. It's hard to move much in his position, so he probably can't escape getting hit with at least some of it, although he'll shift to her side to try and give her more room and so he can just. Awkwardly pat her on the back as she lets it all out.

If she looks like she's about to collapse at any point, he'll support her as best as he can too.]

[Yeah, he's definitely going to be doing that, because taking a dunk into blood and whatever else is now on the floor would almost definitely not improve things. So he'll try to keep her from ducking too low, and move her slowly into a not-quite-upright position. But alright, let's try this again.]
