RECORDING 2: THE FIRST MURDER

An entire week has passed, and nothing has happened. For a brief glimmer of time, it seemed like they wouldn't succumb. That they would be able to face down the Vessel, the Curse, and come out stronger on the other side.

....But when they wake up today, it's easy to feel the wrongness in the air. The sense of satisfaction from something lurking deep inside, pleased that it was fed...and pleased that finally, the killing had started.

As you all rise and look towards a new day, the faint traces of Miasma lap at your heels...

...And around whatever corpse now lingers in the hallways...

[And now for the moment of truth. Time to see the body. Even though she was a machine the scene is pretty gruesome, and Sissle wrinkles his nose at the oil smell.]

[It is what it is though. So he jumps into the machine parts. Let's see what Tricks work on it- first he tries some of the mangled limbs]

[Well...They kind of work. The limbs flex, anyway - Olympia was apparently build pretty sturdy.

...Though every time he moves the limbs, The lightbulb comes on.]

[Well, the claw holding the drill actually pushes on the trigger for the drill! So that's fun.

However, the wooden bits and garbage bits are just that - garbage. most of them aren't even hooked up.

However, touching one of the legs does cause it to give a loud THUNK....which, given how the body's been contorted and how shitty those legs are, destabilizes it.

...Which leads to the body falling over onto it's side with a loud WHOMP, splashing into the oil around it.

I was seeing if I could revive her and trying to figure out what the killer was using her body for...

It was really shittily propped up, I think.

I'm not sure. If I had to guess it's that or the ghosts here... ate her.

Another thing is that it might be because not all her body parts are there, too. I don't know how robots tick, you'd have to ask someone who's more familiar.

[He’s wandered in at some point during the whole shebang and probably managed to not walk directly into the oil AOE of your newly resident pinchybot because he’s no fun like that. Now that it’s keeled over he’ll just crouch over the mess, one eyebrow raised curiously. Hmm...]

[That is apparently a real question??
