Week 2 Mingle

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.
The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.
On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.
Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

I didn't know if you'd like this genre, but if you do, I can always recommend you other songs too, Vanitas-kun.
[It is a little unexpected that he'd like this sort of song. She enjoys it, and she picked it with purpose, but all the same.]

No need to go out of your way.
[ Vanitas is shaking his head, one hand briefly running through his hair. ]
I wouldn't exactly call myself a huge fan of music, overall. I never had time to listen to it. Working under the Master didn't give me much free time... nor did anything after that.

It isn't really going out of my way. At the very least, you should listen to something other than what the Resort keeps playing at us.
[She waves a grumpy hand at the air and the constant soundtrack.]
Besides, you can't be any kind of a fan of something you haven't had a chance to explore in the first place. I think you should give it a try.

Maybe that's part of why I liked your song so much. I have that [ mimicking her wave! ] to compare it to.
[ He gives a quiet hum... and then a shrug. ]
All right, fine... Let's have those recommendations, then.

I'm not exactly a singer in the first place, you know. I keep saying. But... [he gets a side-glance, half-mischief and half-amusement] Either way, I don't mind being an introduction to other kinds of music. That means I made an impression, huh?
[And regardless of musical talent, making impressions is what she's all about. She's totally teasing, though.]
I'll see if I can get some more song selections from the staff so you have more to pick from, but hmm...
[He'll be getting a wider selection later, but for now he's getting whatever she has on hand, which is likely some poppy songs, with a couple of softer and jazzier selections. Have fun with that.]
