Week 2 Mingle

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.
The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.
On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.
Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

[He points the laser sword.]
You mind if I hold it for minute? I'll give it right back.
[He'll understand if Iwai says no, though.]

[He sure is unsure about giving a very dangerous sword to someone with no experience]
By the way, since you're here, you free on Thursday night? You, your wires and your status as the one trustworthy person in this entire resort are needed.

[He just 5 years old and thinks it's cool.]
Hm? Yeah, I'll be free. What do you need me for?
no subject
[That'd be the greatest embarrassment of his life, and he sure has gone through a couple before]
That Snake guy...there's somethin' about him that's off. I don't think he's a monster, but if he isn't, then he may get attacked. That's why I wanna set somethin' up so he's a little safer. You understand?
[He's not sure if Bennings and Snake are friends or not, but he's hoping they are. That'd be a good incentive to get Bennings to cooperate, he figures]

[Though he's still a little disappointed. Thanks, Iwai.
Anyway, down to business.]
I don't think the Snake's too off, honestly, but maybe you're noticing something I'm not. Never was too good with that sort of stuff.
[He only ever notices when it's too late.]
But yeah, I understand where you're coming from. I'll help you if you think it'll help keep him him safe from... whatever might come after him. What are you thinking of doing?

Sounds worse than it'll be. Besides, you are the one trustworthy person in this entire place. Your word about the results will be a big help -- and your wires should be of help too.
[With no collateral gutting this time, he hopes]

Not to mention if we use something that leaves a trail, if Snake leaves his room, we'll know where he's been. [Hope you don't mind a little input, Iwai.]
Being told that I'm the only trustworthy person in this place makes this feel a bit daunting, you know.
..How do you plan on incorporating my wires into this trap, by the way?
no subject
Those wires are gonna be the centerpiece of the trap. Gotta have something sturdy enough to hold stuff in place but also malleable enough to break if anythin' happens to Snake. I'd ask those staff guys for wire, but I bet they'd sabotage it so the plan's ruined from the start.
[Anything that'd get in the way of a murder and a long trial sure will be inconvenient for the staff, after all]
