WEEK 2

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.

The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.

Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

Tiptoeing over would be a way to sneak up on them without them noticing, right?

Silent, stealthy! Gallant Ignis Joseph manages to sneak up on the guards successfully, but should he continue past them or take them all out?

He should definitely take them all out! Ka-pow!

With a mighty Laguz Leap, Gallant Ignis Joseph surprises the guards and overcomes them with his ferocious strength!

Great! Now the only choice is to go forward, right?

It is! He must make his way through the fortress to find his way to the lair of the Evil King, located at the very top.

Alright, well, what's the next battle or obstacle he will face when moving further into the fortress? The Hero's journey is never easy, after all.

He must locate his weapons! While the henchman were nothing for the hero unarmed, he knows that he will need them for battle against the Evil King.

I guess he can't just take him down with his fists.

[ Ha ha... ]

What about finding out where the fortress stocks their weapons? They have to have a place like that in there somewhere?

Yes, there is indeed an armory! It's located close to the prison, and it's but a simple task for our hero to sneak his way there.

Then he'll be able to go right through any enemies in his way with ease now, right?

[swordhandled]

Certainly! Armed with a trusty sword and shield, Gallant Ignis Joseph can take down any foe that crosses his path. Shall he proceed to the chambers of the Evil King?

Yeah, let's go ahead and finish this once and for all!

[swordhandled]

Gallant Ignis Joseph makes his way through the fortress, avoiding all other enemies, saving his strength for the Evil King. He arrives at his chambers, hesitating at the door. Does he burst in, sword raised, or should he walk in more calmly?

Well, he should walk in all calmly...if he rushes in, he can't have words before the final fight with the Evil King.

Of course. Steeling himself, our hero places his hands on the entrance to the chambers, opening the door and walks in. His head is held tall, hand calmly resting on the hilt of his blade. He spies the Evil King sitting calmly on his throne, as though he expected this. What shall he say to the villain at the start of this confrontation?
