WEEK 2

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.

The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.

Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

[And she spends a moment contemplating too while he talks, sizing him up a little according to all of the scenarios he's coming up with. She's only really paid much attention to other people's avatar designs, so her fashion exercises are closer to Tsumugi's than anything. All the same:]

It's true that you and Kurusu-kun have pretty different styles, but I don't think that's a bad thing. A crossover could probably work, actually.

[That's her opinion, though! She agrees that that Phantom Thief outfit is pretty stylin'.]

But you like something more formal, maybe? I'll wait and see what it looks like.

[She does have two entirely polarized aesthetic senses depending on which version of her you're talking to, after all. She's all about these extremes.]

He takes this seriously enough, so he'll go pester the staff for clothes, coming back in something along the lines of:

He didn't bother changing out his shoes or pants, though, so those are the same as always.]

[She tries to keep a straight face, but the corner of her mouth keeps going up......]

I-It doesn't look bad, just very -- rustic?

[He looks a lot like he escaped from a Ghibli film, okay, she cannot help this reaction. It's kind of cute at the same time that it's hilarious.]

You look like you could probably star in one of those movies about families in the countryside.

[It's an interesting sort of change from his put-together aesthetic. He really just needs a good hat.]

[Oh my god.

Minato looks down at himself, and thinks of the Ghibli films he's seen, and snorts amusedly.]

You're right about that. It's like lowkey cosplay. Time for me to find Laputa.

Well, I wasn't going to outright call you a Ghibli character. Most of them are little kids.

[I guess poor Flat is getting called a Ghibli by proxy, but let's be real, he's sparkly enough to be one anyway.

But also, while Minato was off actually cosplaying (it's totally cosplaying), she nabbed a few dares of her own.]

Oh, right. I had a couple of other dares I had to do... How do you feel about hugs?

[She's very bad at this?? Why is Nanashi a menace.]

[He...gives her a cheesy thumbs up.]

I like hugs.

[She huffs a bit of a laugh, that really was cheesy.]

All right. You asked for it.

[No, she did, but she's rather busy thoughtfully looking this way and that and possibly thinking too hard about it. Finally, she just reaches out for his shoulders and tugs him in. It's a bit more awkward than you might expect, and a lot of the hug ends up being the poof of her dress, but it's also kind of weirdly. Methodical?

The hug of someone who really has not done a lot of hugging in a while.

She'll let him go after a moment and start running her hand through her hair, faux-straightening it.]

... There. Did you want to keep going?

[It's...a bit of an awkward hug, but he can roll with it. He keeps his arms loose around her so she can pull away when she wants to, and seems satisfied with that.]

With the hug, or with the truth and dare stuff?

[He's...he's teasing.]

[Thanks for actually flustering her?? She gives her hair a tug before stopping herself.]

That's a one-time thing. That's what I get for playing this game with Nanashi...

[Totally making a face to herself. She should have realized he'd be a menace after the sleepovers and just his literal personality, this is a bun not to be underestimated.]
