WEEK 2

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.

The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.

Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

[He nods, breathing in deeply in a way that sounds suspiciously like a sniffle, taking another breath before lowering his arm]

Okay... maybe it'll help.

Akane - Akane Tendo is a girl my age, she's really cute with short short hair and this really sweet smile. Her father owns a Dojo, and she's a pretty decent marital artist herself, but she's really really sweet and gentle, and whenever she tries something, she throws everything into it....

As for Ranma... Ugh! Ranma is someone I knew since we went to the small all-boy's middle school. He's a cocky no-good-dirty-rotten-heart-stealing-cheating-scoundrel!

[His hand clenched into a fist]

The guy's got an ego the size of Tokyo, and always uses dirty tricks to win fights, and he's the only guy who manages to beat me in battle no matter what I do! Somehow he always figured out some new trick, some technique to pull victory out at the last minute!

[Despite that... rant, there's still a hint of fondness in his voice]

Then there's the fact he's leading so many girls on, because he likes the ego-boost it gives him despite the fact he's suppose to be engaged to Akane! Uuuuugh...

[He folds his arms over his chest, an eyelid twitching]

[Wow, that turned into quite the rant somehow, and he definitely got louder and louder. She's listening attentively, though, and trying real hard not to look kind of amused. Her face is just thoughtful instead.]

So... you're in a love triangle with Tendo-san and your childhood friend, and all of you are using martial arts to decide things...? [that's what she's getting from this?!] They sound like pretty interesting people. Do you all have people following you around, or is it just Ranma-kun?

[He exhales softly, that actually felt good to get off his chest]

I guess that's one way to sum it up. No - I don't have that kind of draw....

Well, maybe you just didn't notice? People are pretty bad at noticing that sort of thing for themselves.

[Obviously, she knows nothing about the situation beyond the quick details, but the fellow doesn't strike her as the most perceptive sort?? Also he gets lost at the drop of a hat, is he even around for potential admirers to find?!]
