WEEK 2

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.

The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.

Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

. . . [ you know what, she's gonna give him a somewhat easy one ] Name three of your favorite people that are in this room and give me a good reason why you like them. Stipulation is that you're not allowed to name someone you know from back home.

[BUT MAKOTO IS LIKE HIS FAVORITEST OF FAVORITE PEOPLE :( :( :(]

I can't leave out Makoto. That just feels wrong.

. . . okay, fine. Three people and Niijima.

[purrtagonist]

[ACCEPTABLE]

Makoto and I have been through-- [a deep exhale] -- a lot. I trust her with my life, my well being, my happiness. She's funny, smart, and a little strict but in that way where you know she cares and just wants to see you succeed. She's. . . amazing. She's so driven that I know she'll succeed at whatever she puts her mind to.

I couldn't find a better number two if I tried.

[aw. . .]

[dereban]

[ Inaba actually listens to this rather seriously, humming with quite a bit of interest. ]

You're kind of sappy, you know that?

[purrtagonist]

[shhhhhh]

I don't see any reason why I should hide my feelings.

[hmph!]

The other three are. . . [a beat]

No. I actually can't answer with just three. I have way more than three favorites.

[dereban]

That makes you a kind person then, Kurusu.

[ She smiles, but there's strangely something bitter to it. Hm. ]

Then, am I allowed to ask for you to tell me one good thing about everyone that you like, then?

[purrtagonist]

Mmm. I can.

[stares RIGHT at her, before he continues]

One good thing about Inaba is that she is responsible and level-headed. You can always count on her to take the lead when necessary, even if she's awfully tsundere about it.
