WEEK 2

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.

The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.

Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

He clears his throat, and asks, with various levels of difficulty:]

Do you have anyone special back home...?

Oh, uh... No, not in the way I think you mean.

[But the way he paused immediately before giving that answer might indicate someone immediately came to mind.]

[He won't press!]

I was just curious anyway.

Yeah, fair enough.

[But he seems eager to leave this topic, so:]

[Also, he's letting his mouth close properly now because that's enough of that.]

If you won a million dollars, what would you do with it?

I'd buy a place to live--a house, or something like that...and then donate the rest.

No, I think that sounds pretty great. What would you donate it to?

... Any organizations that help out orphans in Japan, I think.

It's not really a great situation to be without a family there.

[He tilts his head.]

I don't know too much about it... Is the adoption situation not great?

[Minato rocks back and forth on his heels for a moment, hands shoved into his pockets, before he shakes his head.]

There's a bit of a nasty stigma sometimes...

[He's definitely taking a guess at why that's the first charity Minato thought of, but... He doesn't ask the obvious question that comes from it.]
