Week 2 Mingle

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.
The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.
On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.
Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

[Akira leans back as Minato leans in, but only enough so that he can catch the other wild card's gaze with his own. he stares back, expression empty and neutral, before he just. . . reaches up]
[and tweaks one of the ears]
[which twitches as he does so]
[sooo yeah they're real]

Minato blinks slowly... and then shrugs, sitting on one of the arms of the chair so he's like. Not sitting in Akira's lap. That would be weird.]
I shouldn't be surprised you managed something like that...
They're cute.
[KITTY EARS!!]
no subject
You think so?
[raises a brow, pushing his glasses a bit further up his nose]
I was afraid it was too much black. I debated going for the ginger version instead.
no subject
... Nah, black matches and suits you. It's for the better it's like this.
[He...wants to touch them BUT HE'S BEHAVING.]
Somehow, it feels like you should've always had these...

[a beat]
If that's true, then I guess you could say I'm finally returning to my purrfect form?
[dear god in heaven why]
no subject
Beat...]
Yeah. It's nyantastic, really.
[no i hate this]
no subject
Great. I'll be expecting aclaws anytime now.
[aclaws. applause. i hate]
no subject
I can't tell if that one was clawful or furmidable.
[You started this, al]
no subject
[he has no regrets]
[I do. but Akira does not]
no subject
[Tweaking Akira's cat ear casually!
Bad puns.]
no subject
Even the great Arisato has his punny limits. . .

[In another universe, Minako sneezes, because it's totally her.
Also Akira's ears are soft? Wtf. Sorry, he has to inspect this more closely by rubbing his fingers along the fur.]
Besides, some catastrophic puns can't be easily opurrcome. [You know... like overcome..... it's bad]
no subject
Wow.
Two for one? That's final blow material, right there. . .! How am I supposed to come back from that?
no subject
And there's something kind of soothing about it.
He misses Korochan :(]
Mm... somehow, I think you're probably pretty good at shounen, last minute upsets. I'm rooting for you, Akira.
no subject
[ear flick!!]
I'll make sure my comeback story is an impressively dramatic one.
no subject
Oops.
He yanks his hand back, clearing his throat.]
Uh.
Sorry. They were soft and I got distracted--
[...ANYWAY.]
no subject
[SNORTS]
Yeah, it was kind of weird. But I thought if I called attention to it, it'd just be weirder.
no subject
[KIND OF WEIRD, KIND OF AWKWARD.
He's keeping his hands to himself now!!]
It says a lot about this place that you having cat ears doesn't even register as very strange.
no subject
[even before this place, Akira doesn't think cat ears would've struck him as weird]
no subject
That's true. In a world where dogs can be Persona users, there's no reason to doubt cat ears.
no subject
Was there a dog on your team back home?
no subject
A dog and a combat android.
[WHAT]
no subject
We had a monster cat who wasn't really a cat, so.
I can't be surprised.
