WEEK 2

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.

The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.

Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

I watered my head daily in the shower and gave it plenty of sunlight. All that hard work really paid off.

...It looks like he might believe him for a moment before he realizes something and then gives him a Look...only because there's not a lot of sunlight here. ]

...That doesn't sound like it makes sense. You're just making that up, aren't you?

[Akira's neutral expression breaks out into an amused smile]

I received a weird gift today, and decided to make use of it. That's all.

[ He mutters a "knew it". ]

Oh. So they are fake, but...somehow they look real?

. . . ah, no. They're real.

[he's gonna have to explain better than that for poor Roxas]

I drank a potion that gave them to me.

...that's kind of neat, but does it wear off?

[ Taking a bath like that might become uncomfy and all that. ]

It does after about an hour.

[ That's the only reason he can figure he's sounding so disappointed... ]

[ Plays it off like he's actually seriously asking... ]

[ Apparently this is thing that is happening now. ]

[leans in and whispers, voice low and conspiratorial]

Trust me. You don't want to know.

[ Small staged gasp ]

It's really that bad?

Your eardrums will burst and bleed out of your ear as soon as you hear the truth.
