WEEK 2

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.

The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.

Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

[ So she's playing dress up again, but this time without all the armor! She is wearing Akira's mask, gloves, and shirt thing with her skirt and knee high boots.

When she sees him, she'll run at full speed at him. ]

[. . . anyway her jumping onto his lap sends his notebook flying, so BE PROUD OF YOURSELF CINQUE. they are not a pile of haphazard limbs on the chair, with Akira's face pressed into the back cushion. his tail flicks back and forth in agitation]

[ RIP NOTEBOOK you will be remembered... later maybe.

She beams a bright smile. ]

Hey hey, Sataling. Are you playing dress up?

[ She's not moving and is already reaching to touch one of those ears ]

[the ear is soft underneath her touch! feels like real fur. it moves, too]

[anyway, he is also finally squirming so he's less pushed against the couch cusion so he can get a good look at her, and once he realizes what she's wearing? he pauses]

Is that my. . .

[trrrrailing off, how did you get those articles of clothing??]

[ OMG. Also he's not pushing her out yet, so... this might be her home now. Scratching the ears! ]

Hmm? Oh yeah. I asked the Staff if I could get my own set. But it looks like you found trouble without me again.

[. . . OKAY HOLD UP NOBODY SAID ANYTHING ABOUT EAR SCRATCHING. gently swats at her hand!1]

This isn't trouble, this is me making use of a gift I got today.

[ :< hand swatted. Can she touch the tail then? ]

Well, you always seem to get into trouble whenever you have this on!

[SHE CAN, but the tail flicks away from her when she tries. almost like it has a mind of its own]

It's my Phantom Thief outfit. It attracts trouble like honey attracts flies.

You sure it's not just you? [ There's a lift in the corner of her mouth. She's teasing him again ] Oh! That reminds me. [ Pausing in her game of grab tail to look at him. ] Are you actually a magical girl?

[and then, without breaking eye contact, he does the. . . freakin'. . . sailor moon pose with his hands]

She'll laugh and then go for the tail since he's posing. ]

How did you wind up like this anyways?

[the tail jerks away from her again. it's a tough one to catch]

Someone gave me a gift, and I used it.

[it would've been a shame to let it go to waste]

Oh! I got some, too.

[ She points to her boots. ]

I got something else, but it says to keep it a secret.

[purrtagonist]

[blinks slowly a few times, brow raised]

Why do they want you to keep it a secret?

[ Distracted by his ears for a moment. And then she'll poke him in the nose instead ]

It said on there it'll turn to water if I say it.

[ She puts a single finger over her mouth for a shh ]

[wrinkles his nose!! his ears pull back slightly, before they flick forward again]

Ooooooh. I know what you go--

[whoops, finger on his mouth. goes kind of cross-eyed trying to look at it. THIS IS KIND OF INTIMATE, CINQUE!!]

[ Ears are moving. that's actually cute.

And whoops. More so than sitting on him? Moving her finger off and then going for the ears again. ]

Hehe. I'm not supposed to say what it is and I don't think anyone else is, either.

[ It seems fun though ]

[NO HER SITTING ON HIM IS INCLUDED IN THIS STATEMENT ABOUT INTIMACY. but he still isn't pushing her away, even if his ears flick away from her touch. much like his tail]

[ Also sorry. She's used to a lot of affection and now it's... well... not as often. ]

My legs are covered in hair. Thick and gross, like blankets.

[ It means she can bury him again, right? She'll finally wiggle off of him, but like help herself to squishing in with him on the chair. ]

I never have to worry about going outside in the snow again.

[he shifts a little, to make room for both of them in the chair. he doesn't super mind sitting pressed this closely to her]

[ Now they are nice and cozy! ]

You could even go without pants and be a-okay! Then you can go full magical girl in a skirt, right?

[ She's going to give a look saying she's teasing. ]

[and he just responds with a completely deadpan expression, almost like he's saying CHALLENGE ACCEPTED]
