WEEK 2

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.

The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.

Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

It certainly looks like it. How'd you get even a hold of that armor anyways? Don't tell me the staff just dropped it off in your room.

Huh. As long as they aren't filched from someone's closet... then yeah, that actually is pretty nice.

What made you ask for that, though? When it comes to armor, I'd think Cynthia's would be a better fit...

I don't think they would take from other guests.

Because Sataling and Gerbear run around in masks. So I wanted to try it out.

[Gerbear...... huh. He looks a little amused at that.]

It's as good a reason as any, I suppose. I have to admit, I've kind of wondered how they manage it. It seems like it's be pretty hard to stay aware of your surroundings.

Maybe they built up an awareness! Or it's a special power-

No, maybe only Gerbear actually worked on that. I don't think Sataling is that aware of things.

I guess you would get used to it after a point, and there's definitely more to it than just sight.

[Although that comment about Sataling Akira confuses him a little.]

Did something happen to Akira?

He keeps finding trouble whenever he wears the mask.

[ She finds out later WHY but now? Now it's just he plays dress up when he wants to get into trouble. ]

Haha... I'm not so sure it has to do with the mask. Some people might just be good at that... or having trouble find them.

That might be true. I wonder if there's a trouble deterrent we can put on him?

Maybe have one of those collars around him? You know, with a bell. At least if you can't prevent him from getting into trouble, it's easy to find him.
