Week 2 Mingle

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.
The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.
On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.
Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

Hm...?
[He reaches up with his right hand to wipe away the sleep but winces - ow. Right. Puppy bites.]
no subject
[ He stares at the sloppily bandaged hand. ]
Want to try maybe re-bandaging it better with some help?
no subject
It's okay. If anyone killed me now, it'd have to be someone from "town."
[According to the rules, anyway.]
You don't mind? It's hard to do one-handed.
[Especially when the injured one is your dominant hand.]
no subject
[ ...Those words he is now parroting back at someone else, the irony. ]
No, I don't mind. I'm the one with two uninjured hands, remember? [ That was definitely some snark, yep. ] And how'd it end up like that, anyway?
no subject
[Ahahaha...]
Biting the cushion wasn't enough for him, I guess.
no subject
[ Roxas has no idea how it happened but that is where his imagination went. ]
...Let me just see your hand. It wouldn't be good if you can't really move it much in a place like this.
[ ... Now it is him reaching out for Yoshi's hand instead of it being passed along. ]
no subject
[But he'll go ahead and hold his hand out. Once the bandages are removed, there's definitely some red from being chewed on by sharp, tiny pupper teeth.]
Then again, I've never been good with animals...
no subject
[ But he'll take it within his own hands, and yeah, there is some sort of warmth coming from his, closing up that minor injury. Now if only it was always this easy. ]
Just bad luck with them?
no subject
[But then his hand is healed, and his eyes go wide. Hi, sorry, were you saying something?]
You have healing magic?!
no subject
[ So plz not to be having a parade about it ... ]
It was just easier to do this instead of wrap it back up.
1/2
[Like something out of a video game!]
Thanks! I didn't even notice you had powers 'cause...
2/2
Actually.
Hmmmm. He goes silent.]
no subject
...We can always talk more about it later?
[ He doesn't know what he's thinking, but... ]
no subject
Do you have other magic like that?
no subject
We can talk about what happened here later on.
[ ... ]
It's a really common thing for other people I knew to have magic, though. What about you? Is that something you're familiar with too? ...Outside of here.
no subject
[Says the boy who can see numbers.]
no subject
[ Funny how that works - to Roxas that sounds definitely like a lot of magic! ]
no subject
[-Wait.]
You have video games where you're from, right?
no subject
...No, not really. I didn't even know how to play one until I came here.
1/2
2/2
no subject
Yeah and it'll be up to you to teach me how to play too.
no subject
I've spent hoooours playing, so I should know!
