WEEK 2

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.

The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.

Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

Oh, well, he is most certainly on your side. He's actually that much of a self-sacrificing fool. But he is young, so perhaps he'll grow out of it.

Even without a physical body, the soul continues to mature. There's hope for him yet.

Well! Being in spirit form is more comfortable for me, personally. Actually, now that I'm free of it, I find that body I had was quite restricting.

Restricting in what manner?

Imagine, if you will, a full body rubber suit. It's just large enough that you can get into it, but it makes movement difficult and you're quite sweaty and uncomfortable.

It felt like that for me, as a being used to existing only on the spirit plane.

You seemed plenty human to me when you were alive.

I didn't always look that way. It's a very long story, though. Very long.

You able to pass through walls?

Seen any rooms we living folks can't get in?

I tried that. I was unable to enter. Based on how everything ELSE around here works, I suspect that the rooms are not populated with... anything... until they are needed.

They're makin' the rooms just like that? Huh.

[Hm. That's weird...really weird. How does that even work]

Seen any fleshy rooms yet?

They can make seemingly anything from nothing -- whole rooms are not much more difficult.

I have not!
