Week 2 Mingle

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.
The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.
On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.
Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

Actually, yeah. I doubt everyone would be up for learning how to fight, so it'd be a good option for them. [His eyes may be sliding over to Yoshi a little.]
I might not be qualified to teach, but I can still spar with anyone who needs it. We've done plenty of combat exercises both in and out of class too, so it wouldn't be anything new to me.

[He thinks he falls under the 'can do' category, if only to get out of teaching.]
It's best to work with what people are best suited for, instead of forcing everyone to fight. [Regardless of whether Yoshi wants to or not, he's simply not gonna be good at it. He's like, 12, and a nerd.] What do you have experience with?

[There's a small smile when he says that, like he's remembering something fond. However, that expression quickly vanishes and it's back to business again.]
I specialize in swordplay, mostly. I don't expect anyone here to have heard of it, but I use the Eight Leaves One Blade style of swordsmanship. I say that, but there's one form that focuses on unarmed combat, so I can always resort to that if I need to.
[It's also notable that he's been carrying around his tachi around every now and then during their stay, although it's not with him at the moment. Meeting and all.]

[Yeah, never heard of it. Still, he can't devalue a good swordsman.]
How do you practice unarmed swordplay? Wouldn't you need a sword in the first place?

Well, it's basically hand-to-hand combat. It's actually just meant to be a last resort in case I'm ever disarmed by an opponent or I'm caught without my tachi. I haven't heard of anyone specializing in that form, at any rate.
