Week 2 Mingle

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.
The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.
On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.
Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

Having a weapon is better than nothing, but she doesn't want to be the one responsible for the demise of others.]
I wasn't suggesting guns, but you make a good point regardless. [Another pause as she mulls this over.] If you have another suggestion, I'd be glad to hear it.
[She thinks maybe a buddy system thing might work, but...not everyone will be pleased with that. So she's open to other suggestions.]

We should tell them what to do in that kind of situation. How to get away - only to fight if there's no other option.
[It feels like such a weak answer, the floundering attempt of a man who doesn't have the solutions, who can't protect them better.]

I think a short PSA or something might be good. Nothing too complicated. I'm not looking to put these kids through military training or something.
[She's not really looking forward to it. Teaching kids how to fight for their lives....]

[He's not having someone else die for overconfidence, for trying to be the killer they're not. He's not tarnishing that look in anyone else's eyes.]
