WEEK 2

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.

The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.

Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

[Pointing to the diner fireplace before taking another bite of his donut.]

...I mean, I thought that was implied by me saying "trying to send a message", but yes.

[His report done, he gets to drinking his hot chocolate.]

Hey...you were in there checking out a safe in Syazel's room, right? Do you remember what it looked like?

Mm!

[A nod before he can swallow his hot chocolate properly. And then:]

It looked like a regular hotel safe, but I didn't see any numbers for it.

So no dials on it either...?

Oh, there was an input for four numbers!

I just meant I couldn't see numbers about its attributes.

[Though of course, when he says "saw," he means with his math eyes.]

Well, that gives two options: either the Cleaner isn't very experienced with guns if they missed the first two times before shooting at the heart or they went ham. I mean, they did break her jaw even after she was dead.

Three bullets doesn't really show 'went ham', though. And what kind of bullets were they? Most clips hold more than three bullets.
