WEEK 2

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.

The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.

Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

[She... stalls out a little, between holding on to pictures of a woman with her face smashed in and Cinque being Cinque and also Cinque being Cinque, but ultimately Blue Angel puts her tablet away and goes to get a kitchen knife.]

You're sure about this?

[She doesn't like it, but there's nobody else here to do it. She doesn't want to ask the staff for this after all their shenanigans, either.]

I'm sure. If we can find out about the Cleaner, then maybe we can find a way to help them, too.

[ She just wants all the hurt to stop and everything to be happy and good :< ]

[You have jumped way the hell ahead of her on this train of thought. Possibly into a parallel dimension. But of course she's heard it before, in a manner of speaking -- she's heard something like it. Help the possessed. Help Jorogumo.

[ Okay time to dig out a bullet. She's going to undo Yosano's top enough to get a better view of the hole. Let's use the knife to dig in there. ]

Yeah. The Staff made it sound like they are being forced. They said they made sure they'll play the game.

[Oh boy, it's time for gross fleshy digging noises, huh? She'll flinch, but just keep... talking to cover it. This is truly the worst morning.]

... Like we're being forced to play the game. They're pretty confident in their Cleaner.

[It's still too soon for her to come around immediately to 'help the person who smashed this woman's face in because they might be in the same boat', but.]

They must be using something really big on them.

Wonder if that's how they are getting all the other roles to play?

[The noises and stuff probably wouldn’t be that much better with a magnet spell, to be fair.]

They could have taken a hostage, or something else important to them. Or just threatened their life, too.

[It’s easy to rattle off possibilities, even if just doesn’t seem like the correct word to apply to having your life threatened. Well. They're getting all sorts of new perspectives these days. She’s talking down at her hands.]

But there might still be people doing this because they want to.

[She’s not quite as optimistic or idealistic as Cinque or others.]

[ It takes some fiddling, and bullet digging and knives aren't her strength, but eventually she does manage to nudge and get it out.

It's covered in blood and she pulls it out with her fingers as soon as she's able. ]

Hmm. Would their hostages be at the lodge, too?

[ Cinque wants to BELIEVE no one is doing this by choice! ]
