ROUND 5 WATCHING POST

Everyone who was there in some shape or form for the meeting on March 1st gets a notice that soon, the location where they'll have to go to watch what happened in the Winchester Incident will be made available for them. Frisk requests a list of those going to see what happened, but doesn't seem to discourage high numbers.

And shortly before the 30th, those that signed up will finally get a name and place - The Hayes Mansion, only a little bit away by drive from the Winchester House. As they drive, the more magically inclined might be able to sense a powerful barrier emanating from the direction the Winchester House is located, though they'll be unable to see anything.

Arriving there, they'll find that any and all other guests have been removed from the Hotel resort, and there's a sign on the door saying that it is Closed for major renovation and fumigation, which would explain the outfits you were given to be 'seen' walking into the place with, as well as all the vans and 'containers' you were told to put your belongings into.

Once inside, a helpful staff member directs you to put the costumes into a specific bin for collection- unless, of course, you would like to keep wearing them - and then another directs you to the front desk, where a pleasant, yet authoritative man is waiting.

[ Okay, we know it's Wendsday, but there are a lot of tapes and Wheatley was reluctant to watch after the corpse thing.

But here he is. Watching this segment a few times in confusion. ]

"Before two weeks have-" Hold on...

[ He gets up and starts glancing about the room, looking for people who seem to look like they know what they're doing. ]

Oi! 'Scuse me! There's something weird on this tape. Looks important.

Before Saturday, huh...

[just musing aloud at this point]

I think there's a few strange things, here. This is all prerecorded, right? Or at least... based on our assumptions, it's supposed to be.

But what I think is odd is that given how many people there are, I doubt there were just in there for two weeks. Not to mention that there was mention of another group before them, right?

It doesn't sound or look like they were saved in two weeks, though.

Not to mention what Battler was talking about... makes it seem like the place is an enclosed space? The inside is in a different place than the outside? Because it might be something similar to how the Hotel worked when it was moving... but it's probably not a living mansion, like this place or the Hotel...

I think we should remove any assumptions about the time, at the very least. We don't know if "how long they've been in there" matches "real time", or even if the year inside the mansion will correlate with the year outside it.

This is just a theory, but: let's say that somehow, entering the mansion made them jump several years. First of all - we don't know the specifics on how everyone died. Battler did mention the details on the corpses, but the 'how' is still kept vague. Also, not to mention the fact that the area seems to be an enclosed space.

Like it's just the mansion and a small area around it.

I'll even add to it: it doesn't make any sense to me as to why there would be an illusion in the surrounding area to begin with. Why hide the dead bodies to begin with? Everyone heard the screams on the first day they went in, so it was very likely that they were dead from the very start.

...Anyway, we should just keep this in mind. As well as any other information, too. I have a feeling that Ango's probably hiding something potentially big, but that's because I'm aware of what his ability does.

[WHAT ARE YOUR SECRETS, ANGO]

[ That... Sure is a lot of theorizing, and he's gonna try to make sense of it. ]

So... They're either already dead or the whole mansion is doing some timey wimey nonsense. Good to know.

[ He probably missed a few steps here. ]

And I know the dossiers said that he learns about things when he touches them, so why hasn't he said anything yet?

Maybe.

I.... don't know, for sure, though. It's just too early to tell, honestly.

And... that's what I'm kind of worried about. The dossiers say that he learns information, but that's not the entire truth. He can see the memories of the objects he touches. This also applies to people too, though...

[yeah, she.

she is just way too familiar with his canon]

note to self, make icons to reflect the goat thing

[ Opens mouth.

Closes mouth since robots and Geb's family of demon stakes are technically objects.

Thinks of something else. ]

Well. Ah. I know they never made it out, so him not saying anything about it is really bloody concerning. What if he's siding with whatever's in that house or something? We don't know!

. . . mmm.

He's a very secretive person, in spite of what he looks like. Not to mention a bunch of other things, but that's irrelevant right now.
