ROUND 5 WATCHING POST

Everyone who was there in some shape or form for the meeting on March 1st gets a notice that soon, the location where they'll have to go to watch what happened in the Winchester Incident will be made available for them. Frisk requests a list of those going to see what happened, but doesn't seem to discourage high numbers.

And shortly before the 30th, those that signed up will finally get a name and place - The Hayes Mansion, only a little bit away by drive from the Winchester House. As they drive, the more magically inclined might be able to sense a powerful barrier emanating from the direction the Winchester House is located, though they'll be unable to see anything.

Arriving there, they'll find that any and all other guests have been removed from the Hotel resort, and there's a sign on the door saying that it is Closed for major renovation and fumigation, which would explain the outfits you were given to be 'seen' walking into the place with, as well as all the vans and 'containers' you were told to put your belongings into.

Once inside, a helpful staff member directs you to put the costumes into a specific bin for collection- unless, of course, you would like to keep wearing them - and then another directs you to the front desk, where a pleasant, yet authoritative man is waiting.

. . . so, what, is our mysterious person Orihime now?

[ IT'S A HALF JOKE HERE BECAUSE SOMEONE HAD TO SAY IT ]

It seems a little more complex.

I'm not good with power-related crap, though, so maybe we should actually push our assumptions aside and maybe, at some point, you know.

Ask properly if someone knows what the guy's power was?

I don't believe so, did the name Orihime come up somewhere?

[...Yeah, the joke goes completely over her head.]

But yes, that is the plan. Frisk is probably the only one who can actually tell us that, though, so we'll need to wait for him to contact us again.

No, it-

It's an inside joke.

Does no one have their phone number?

[ in this day and age??? really?? ]

He's an O5, remember? That's basically one of the most important people in the Foundation. They're not people that we're supposed to have direct contact with unless they specifically allow it.

[I mean, if someone does have his number that makes things much easier, but it's not like it's something we can just... ask for...]

I think we're past a normal boss-subordinate relationship right now. [ after they kicked their ass and all ]

Unless they used a burner, we should be able to contact them the way they contacted us.

. . . They messaged us, though.

I don't think they went out of their way to hide their connections when they sent the message earlier in the month, so. We can probably just shoot a message to them right back and they'll answer if it's important?
justonezero: (Even so)

[personal profile] justonezero 2020-03-31 11:12 pm (UTC)(link)
I can look up their call and get the number if we need it.

Well, we need it right now, so can you get ahold of them?

It'd be good to confirm abilities right now instead of holding it off for later for us to make wrong assumptions later.
justonezero: (Someday I'll just)

Got it!

[Time to look through his call logs and get Frisk's info. Ring ring ring ring!!]

Hi Frisk! Sooo, we found the USBs! But the circumstances were kind of weird.

Do you know what Tages' power was, specifically?
justonezero: (So what?)

[personal profile] justonezero 2020-04-11 12:58 am (UTC)(link)
...

Was negotiating, like, an actual power, or...?
justonezero: (care about me)

[personal profile] justonezero 2020-04-11 01:18 am (UTC)(link)
I think we were mostly asking about magical effects! Although magically negotiating is pretty impressive too.

[Hm!]

Can he make barriers or anything like that?
justonezero: (And I think that by now)

[personal profile] justonezero 2020-04-11 01:37 am (UTC)(link)
...

Frisk, do you have a crush on Tages?
justonezero: (care about me)

[personal profile] justonezero 2020-04-11 01:55 am (UTC)(link)
You just sounded like you like him a lot!

Anyway, the hotel couldn't remember anything either, so we were wondering if that was part of his powers. Putting up a barrier that could make everyone forget about it and everyone who was inside. The dossiers we have are blank, too!
justonezero: (I'm not there)

[personal profile] justonezero 2020-04-11 02:35 am (UTC)(link)
I think it's getting weaker now. That's how the hotel was able to find the records again, but there's magic that's still blocking some of it. It looks like the Staff who recorded everything was locked away in a room with the files all this time...

[Oh uh right--]

Actually, there's like a curse or something down there? Or there was. It looks like she got totally consumed by it. When we got hit with it, we started feeling negative emotions, and when some of us tried to use our powers to perceive it, we remembered traumatic events.

We are specifically working for him here.
