Week 4, Friday
Another Thursday night comes, and everyone seems to know what that means. Even with the failure of last week, several people are out on patrol, trying to make sure no murders occur tonight. That motive had been tempting, after all, and keeping people in check when there's the promise of 'going home' on the line is difficult at best.
Moriarty, at least, seems intent on taking advantage of that motive. After slipping out of his room, he walks briskly towards the back yard. His intended target is out there, he knows it, and he wants to get this done quickly before anyone notices he's missing. The stipulation of 'don't get caught' has made this week's motive all the harder to obtain, and he has no intentions of letting anyone get the best of him.
However, Oda is not alone this week. Several people have decided to patrol with him, making for many witnesses to any possible crime. A fact that Moriarty sees instantly as soon as he steps outside.
For a moment, Oda and Moriarty's eyes meet. Oda frowns, because he can figure out exactly what Moriarty is doing out and about at this hour. But he can't say anything, not with the people around him. The goal is to avoid deaths, after all, and speaking up now will just result in Moriarty's death instead of his own. And since Oda won't attack with other people right there to get caught in a firefight and possibly die, he does nothing against this obvious threat.
Karen looks over the edge and sees Moriarty too. In turn, Moriarty smiles and waves up at the group, acting as if nothing bad had been about to happen. Karen waves in return, suspecting nothing. The exchange just makes Oda's frown deepen, but he still says nothing.
Then, once that pleasant exchange is made, Moriarty ducks back inside, heading back to his room before anyone can miss him.
The night passes with no deaths.

Orange team.
Nothing like crafts to start the day.

Bleh, another stupid game... Can I just take the egg off the roof and eat it...
[Technically it'd be off the roof and he's technically an egg contraption if he literally eats it so...]

[ Silver examines the toothpicks ]
Well, if we want to do this without cheating... we need to build something that will break on impact, or that’s kind of springy. It has to absorb the energy of the fall.
no subject
It would count as being broken before it hits the ground.
[ Stealing the sixth glue gun since Azura may be joining another team anyways.
Handing it over to one of them. ]
We can make spikes from the toothpicks to take the impact.
no subject
Do we have enough toothpicks to make a trial model?
no subject
[ Once the glue is dried on the cube (look mini-alcor), hes putting the egg in and then making a lid for it. ]
We could always take some from the kitchen.
[ or from the other teams ]

[Just. Deadeyes Silver and their combined ability to move things with their magic or mind?? Although Silver is probably the better contender here. Yeah, Nora's totally whining right now, and after that he just slouches off to go visit the chickens. He'll be back in a moment.]

[Nora's been back for a minute already but he had what must have been a whole sandwich crammed in his mouth for half of that minute so it's fine. He's still sort of muffled and scattering crumbs but bread Prinny has been a good bird and fed the dog.
So at least he sounds mildly more awake and also mildly less temperamental now. Hanger is truly a menace.]

[ Silver goes to get a roll of wax paper from the kitchen, and he lays out several feet of it. Then he takes the the hot glue and draws thick straight lines with it]

[ He'll grab some more hot glue sticks to put in place, and let him work.
While he finishes building spikes and shit .]

[Nora's still just nomming his sandwiches over here and sort of lazily plopping toothpicks on any nearby construction going on. Is he just going to laze around and eat and heckle them. Maybe.]
no subject
There! That should be long enough. Now we can just lower it down, no cheating required.
no subject
[ And it's cool heckling is what he expects of Nora.
He finishes up the rest of the box with an outer structure of spikes. Then holds out his hand for the rope. time to attach it ]
no subject
[He's adamant about this!! And he finished his sandwiches so he's going to come sniffing around all the structures now. Casually playing with the egg.]
Hmph. If it looks like it's goin' to fail I'm totally wind spelling it.
[His wind spell would probably yeet the egg into the forest so you might want to suggest an alternative.]

[ Silver snugly attaches his rope to the contraption]
Orange Team Submission

Good idea, making a rope like that. Your prize for winning is this!
[He hands each of them a small golden token.]
If you would be included in a chance to die in one of the death-games, you can give this up and not be involved, so the spot will go to someone else. You can also give these tokens to someone else if you like, but they can only be used once.
no subject
Hey! Can we decide who the spot goes to or not?
