[Once again, right at noon, the Contestants are invited to the studio to participate in another exciting game. The set has changed entirely since the last time they were there, with the mountain climber game replaced by a large board of some sort. Several prinnies are near it, carrying large cards with random letters written on them. It seems as though they might be helping out for this game. But there is something else off to the side too...(CW: gallows)

As always, Dazai is there, waiting on stage for everyone to sit down. He's dressed in his usual black suit getup, but his smile seems a bit forced today.]

Caramel poke cake? My mom used to do one with chocolate... you bake the cake, then poke holes in the top and pour the stuff over so it sinks into the holes. Then you can do the strawberries and stuff.

[He's gonna need junk food after this.]

I've never heard of that before. The strawberries could be placed over the holes as well... [ Thinking this through for a while. ]

Would you taste it to tell me if it was accurate?

Well she never did it with caramel, but I can show you how she did it at least? I watched her once while I was... asking her about something.

[They were talking about Michella, but he's not going to mention his sister in case someone wants to use her against him.]

[ There's a slight tilt of his head, but he's not going to inquire here. Maybe during cake times though. ]

Yes, I would like that. I can cook any food, but I need a basic idea of how it tastes and looks first.

Even if you have no idea what's in it? Is that some kind of power you have?

[ He brings his hand to his chin. ]

Most cakes are made of the same ingredients, just tempered together differently. Knowing the appearance and taste is usually enough given my experience with observing human cuisine, but there is always room for error.

Yeah, some stuff is delicate. Like, it'll collapse if you jostle it too much.

[visionem]

Jostle...? Ah, that is not usually a concern for me as I do not handle the ingredients directly.

[eldritcheyes]

No, I mean like if it's in the oven and somebody goes stomping through the house and shakes the whole place, it just knocks the air out of stuff. I remember mom yelled at me once for running through the kitchen because it made her popovers collapse.

[visionem]

I could levitate the oven.

[eldritcheyes]

Uh, it's gotta stay connected to the wall, Al. So just make sure nobody stomps through the kitchen, or bake something that isn't delicate as hell.

[visionem]

Delicate as hell... what a paradoxical saying.

[ And he's distracted again but probably will take that into account. ]

It's slang. I guess it's the equivalent of "extremely" since hell's a pretty extreme place?

[visionem]

It is, yes. Does the opposite also work? "Rough as Heaven"?

[eldritcheyes]

Nah, usually you hear Heaven used for stuff people might see as positive. Sweet as heaven, soft as heaven, that kind of thing. It's a weird quirk of English. Trust me, it's as confusing for native speakers as it is for everybody else, I swear.
