WEEK 1 MINGLE
As dawn approaches on Monday, the contestants are greeted to a beautiful, sunny day. It's the first full week of their time in the house, and after the rather troubling introduction on Saturday it's hard to know just what to expect
For the first week, the surrounding area seems quiet and peaceful. The weather stays a nice 75 degrees during the day, and it dips down to the 50s at night. Comfortable, and without any real disturbances from nature or house. It's almost as if the whole weekend was just a bad dream, and maybe the actual game won't be as bad as Dazai made it out to me.
However, those rules and profiles are still hanging in the living room, a constant reminder of the warnings that have been given. What will happen now? There haven't been any deaths at this containment site in years, but will that change with these new rules? Only time will tell.
Perhaps it's a good idea to enjoy this first week. Go swimming, watch a movie, or just hang out together and get to know each other better. You never know, this might be the last time to see some of the contestants.

Do you have anyone you're close with here with you? Any friends or former teammates?

Those are two different distinctions. I know several others, but friends...I do not think so.
[ This might sound a bit weird if he catches Alcor with Nora at any point, but that's kinda different for a few reasons. ]

Yes, he has friends now, but that's such a recent thing that it's incredibly easy to mentally go back to those days... To the time when he never would have asked such a question, because an honest answer from him would have been a flat 'not even close'. ]
Friendship can be difficult. It's something I'm still learning about.
