WEEK 1 MINGLE
As dawn approaches on Monday, the contestants are greeted to a beautiful, sunny day. It's the first full week of their time in the house, and after the rather troubling introduction on Saturday it's hard to know just what to expect
For the first week, the surrounding area seems quiet and peaceful. The weather stays a nice 75 degrees during the day, and it dips down to the 50s at night. Comfortable, and without any real disturbances from nature or house. It's almost as if the whole weekend was just a bad dream, and maybe the actual game won't be as bad as Dazai made it out to me.
However, those rules and profiles are still hanging in the living room, a constant reminder of the warnings that have been given. What will happen now? There haven't been any deaths at this containment site in years, but will that change with these new rules? Only time will tell.
Perhaps it's a good idea to enjoy this first week. Go swimming, watch a movie, or just hang out together and get to know each other better. You never know, this might be the last time to see some of the contestants.

It is a ridiculous game, but that is the entire point of it. When they're under stress humans create other outlets for relief, like so. While I may be limited in how much I can help them normally, this is not one of them.

[Despite his words, it's not said as insistently as before. Rather, it sounds a little more thoughtful, even if the bite behind it is still somewhat there.]

But for now, I think this activity is beneficial as it will grow their bonds between each other. And I do not usually have the opportunity to encourage them like this, so I didn't want to pass on the opportunity.

What a slow and inefficient method... [But ugh, he does also realize it's more difficult than just stabbing Dazai in the face or something, so. Sighs.] But fine. Let's get this... hug over with.

[ He sounds like he speaks from experience here, his words just the slightest bit coy. At the agreement he tips his head lightly with an assuaging smile; an unvoiced thank you, based on their interactions so far. His experience with Yamato is paying dividends here, something he wasn't anticipating but that he feels grateful for even if the thought stirs something else in his mind. He'll think on it later.
The good thing about Alcor is that there's no awkward approach given he can just teleport the few feet seamlessly and wrap his arms around Sandalphon. Moriarty had decreed the hug be firm, but given that Alcor isn't used to interacting physically, that likely would have been the result anyway. There's something airy about his touch in spite of this, almost like walking through a cloud. It's not uncomfortable at least and he doesn't hold it longer than he needs to for it to count for the dare.
Teleporting back to where he was a few seconds ago, that smile is still on his face. ]
Out of all the things I never could have predicted when I assumed this form, hugging an archangel was something that never crossed my mind, even as an impossibility.

So when Alcor teleports away, he feels his shoulders relax. Ugh, that comment doesn't help though!!]
A-anyways, that's all you needed from me, was it not? Go back to playing with those mortals, or whatever else you were planning to do.

Indeed I will. Until next time, Sandalphon. [ A blip and he's gone; maybe next time he'll try to get the other man to play properly but, one step at a time. He's patient. ]
