WEEK 1 MINGLE

As dawn approaches on Monday, the contestants are greeted to a beautiful, sunny day. It's the first full week of their time in the house, and after the rather troubling introduction on Saturday it's hard to know just what to expect

For the first week, the surrounding area seems quiet and peaceful. The weather stays a nice 75 degrees during the day, and it dips down to the 50s at night. Comfortable, and without any real disturbances from nature or house. It's almost as if the whole weekend was just a bad dream, and maybe the actual game won't be as bad as Dazai made it out to me.

However, those rules and profiles are still hanging in the living room, a constant reminder of the warnings that have been given. What will happen now? There haven't been any deaths at this containment site in years, but will that change with these new rules? Only time will tell.

Perhaps it's a good idea to enjoy this first week. Go swimming, watch a movie, or just hang out together and get to know each other better. You never know, this might be the last time to see some of the contestants.

The fact that you don't see it as special says quite a bit about your character, Oda-san.

[That's said with a hint of admiration to his voice, too. Oda always was the little angel on Dazai's shoulder, after all.]

[ oda still doesn’t see why dazai considers it such, but he can at least notice the admiration behind his tone.

he fidgets with the book in his hand and shrugs. ]

Well, thank you, I guess.

[He just smiles in return.]

Say, Oda-san.

[ oda blinks, looking genuinely surprised by this. ]

[ but then he spreads his arms open. ]

Okay. Come here.

[guileturncoat]

[Dazai...actually didn't expect Oda to go through with it. So for a moment he looks surprised, but then he smiles widely like a dork.]

My hero~

[And he fukken. Dives right into Oda's arms like a loser.]

[odasaku]

[ as soon as dazai hugs him, oda wraps his arms around him and gives him a squeeze. ]

If you say so, Dazai.

[ he lets go, but he’s also not pushing dazai away. keep hugging if you want ]

[Yeah so, fun fact: that hug is going to carry on for a few seconds longer than it needs to, and as soon as Oda hugs him back he's practically clinging to the man. Oda might even feel the sharp intake of breath that Dazai pulls in too.]

[odasaku]

[ oh man does he hear that. and while his expression doesn’t changed, he does lift his arms up again to hug dazai for as long as the other wants. ]

[Sorry Oda, this is going to be a long, awkward hug. Because screw the game, he's wanted this since day 1. Even if Oda isn't his Oda, he's still Oda-shaped and smells like Oda and it's a good thing nobody can see Dazai's face right now.]

[odasaku]

[ the last thing oda cares about is awkwardness. he lets dazai continue to hug him for as long as he wants, running his fingers through dazai’s hair. ]

It’s okay. It’ll be okay.
