As dawn approaches on Monday, the contestants are greeted to a beautiful, sunny day. It's the first full week of their time in the house, and after the rather troubling introduction on Saturday it's hard to know just what to expect

For the first week, the surrounding area seems quiet and peaceful. The weather stays a nice 75 degrees during the day, and it dips down to the 50s at night. Comfortable, and without any real disturbances from nature or house. It's almost as if the whole weekend was just a bad dream, and maybe the actual game won't be as bad as Dazai made it out to me.

However, those rules and profiles are still hanging in the living room, a constant reminder of the warnings that have been given. What will happen now? There haven't been any deaths at this containment site in years, but will that change with these new rules? Only time will tell.

Perhaps it's a good idea to enjoy this first week. Go swimming, watch a movie, or just hang out together and get to know each other better. You never know, this might be the last time to see some of the contestants.

You do seem to be close to Goro and Atsushi in particular. . . I'm surprised I'm on that list, though.

Well, that's true but. . . I usually don't get told that. That I'm appreciated like this.

I guess you're not wrong about that.

I was always average back home, so my hard work and persistence was all I really had... although some people probably thought I chose my job to be lazy.

[Hrm.]

Well, I think I understand that. I honestly was just a normal person back home, nothing really special. Although I don't think that's laziness.

It's more like the job I chose is probably considered too easy...

[Ah well. She had her reasons.]

My cantus isn't nearly as impressive as some people in my world. In my group of five, I was probably the second to last in power and application. [She shakes her head lightly.] My group mates were incredible, but it was hard not to feel envious sometimes.
