WEEK 1 MINGLE

As dawn approaches on Monday, the contestants are greeted to a beautiful, sunny day. It's the first full week of their time in the house, and after the rather troubling introduction on Saturday it's hard to know just what to expect

For the first week, the surrounding area seems quiet and peaceful. The weather stays a nice 75 degrees during the day, and it dips down to the 50s at night. Comfortable, and without any real disturbances from nature or house. It's almost as if the whole weekend was just a bad dream, and maybe the actual game won't be as bad as Dazai made it out to me.

However, those rules and profiles are still hanging in the living room, a constant reminder of the warnings that have been given. What will happen now? There haven't been any deaths at this containment site in years, but will that change with these new rules? Only time will tell.

Perhaps it's a good idea to enjoy this first week. Go swimming, watch a movie, or just hang out together and get to know each other better. You never know, this might be the last time to see some of the contestants.

Well! Just look at you. Aren't you adorable.

[he huffs, his throat inflating a bit]

Oh yes, quite huggable.

[he hops down and stands up on his back legs- like this he stands up to her knee in size- and seems to have a froggy sized hip bag on]

Now don't start thinking frog legs would make a good late night snack. I am still perfectly able to defend myself.

[momsters]

[...Ingway, please. For what it's worth, she closes her fist and the fire goes out.]

I've never tried frog legs. They could be nice. Sauteed and marinated in spices....

[PONDER, PONDER.]

But I've heard they taste like... chicken. I'd rather eat the chicken in the fridge.

[darkova]

I appreciate your fine tastes then.

[He relaxes a little]

Then what DID have you running about this late at night?

[momsters]

How about we trade stories?

[She'll plop down on the couch.]

Tell me why you're a frog?

[darkova]

[He hops over, and gets comfy on the table]

Transformation is a talent of mine- usually, animals are impossible for me, but I was trapped in this form for a good while in the past. So it comes naturally for me.

[momsters]

[After a moment of consideration, she'll place a cushion on the table for him to use if he wants.]

I'd ask why you were trapped as a frog in the first place, but I suppose you would tell me it's my turn?

[darkova]

Ah, thank you.

[Comfy froggo]

One for one.

[momsters]

Nono snores.

[She's rolling her eyes.]

I was looking for earplugs. Or something to smother him with.

[darkova]

[Okay that makes him laugh]

Maybe shove the earplugs up his nose?

[momsters]

[That seems to surprise her. She's... not really all that used to making people laugh like that.]

...I hadn't considered that one. Usually I zap him awake to make the snoring stop, but he gets cranky.

[darkova]

I could attempt a sleeping potion for him, but I fear if I went too far with it I might end up on trial. And I'd rather not.

[momsters]

Well, if you did. I heard nothing about this.
