WEEK 1 MINGLE

As dawn approaches on Monday, the contestants are greeted to a beautiful, sunny day. It's the first full week of their time in the house, and after the rather troubling introduction on Saturday it's hard to know just what to expect

For the first week, the surrounding area seems quiet and peaceful. The weather stays a nice 75 degrees during the day, and it dips down to the 50s at night. Comfortable, and without any real disturbances from nature or house. It's almost as if the whole weekend was just a bad dream, and maybe the actual game won't be as bad as Dazai made it out to me.

However, those rules and profiles are still hanging in the living room, a constant reminder of the warnings that have been given. What will happen now? There haven't been any deaths at this containment site in years, but will that change with these new rules? Only time will tell.

Perhaps it's a good idea to enjoy this first week. Go swimming, watch a movie, or just hang out together and get to know each other better. You never know, this might be the last time to see some of the contestants.

[He looks more than a little uncomfortable at the request, but it's true... Vanitas can probably see everything like this anyway.

...And it was probably fair, after seeing his own scars.

Atsushi lets out a sigh, glancing away to the side as he lifts the edge of his shirt. The oddest part about his skin is probably how few scars he even has: There's almost no marks to see, aside from the oddly uniform large patches of old scar tissue along his side.

The tiger healed most things, except for the most traumatic reminders.]

...It's an old burn, is all.

[Atsushi is many things, but good at pretending is not one of them. Never has been, not even when it would be wiser to do so.

So when Vanitas says that he's treated to a wide eyed look, surprise and confusion clear on his face.]

[It fades after a moment into a tiny smile as he ducks his head, nodding in response to Vanitas' words.]

I know. I just don't like showing people because... It's easier, I guess.

[Questions. Concerns. Misunderstandings. All sorts of things he didn't want to deal with, and so it was easier to hide them away. He didn't want to talk about that man.]

But... Thank you.

Don't thank me. You might regret showing me.

[ He did show him quite a bit. Also that's enough warm and fuzzy so he's getting up and walking over to grab the bag of crackers. His now. ]

[Well, Vanitas also showed him quite a bit. He's confused for a moment, but then Vanitas is getting up and--]

Hey, give that back!!

[He's trying to haul himself out of the pool quick enough to chase after him, but he's probably not going to make it.]
