WEEK 1 MINGLE

As dawn approaches on Monday, the contestants are greeted to a beautiful, sunny day. It's the first full week of their time in the house, and after the rather troubling introduction on Saturday it's hard to know just what to expect

For the first week, the surrounding area seems quiet and peaceful. The weather stays a nice 75 degrees during the day, and it dips down to the 50s at night. Comfortable, and without any real disturbances from nature or house. It's almost as if the whole weekend was just a bad dream, and maybe the actual game won't be as bad as Dazai made it out to me.

However, those rules and profiles are still hanging in the living room, a constant reminder of the warnings that have been given. What will happen now? There haven't been any deaths at this containment site in years, but will that change with these new rules? Only time will tell.

Perhaps it's a good idea to enjoy this first week. Go swimming, watch a movie, or just hang out together and get to know each other better. You never know, this might be the last time to see some of the contestants.

[Aaaaand there's the info she didn't want Atsushi hearing.

She'll move to a chair next to him, using the proximity to wrap one arm around his shoulders.]

[Honestly, he'd already been told. But... hearing it with such finality, hearing it as a certainty was...

It was a lot. He doesn't hesitate to lean into that arm she wraps around his shoulder, silent as a grave.]

[She hasn't even finished her breakfast, but she doesn't particularly feel the mood to. Not anymore, and especially not with Atsushi hurting like this.

She'll sit with her arm around him until he breaks away.]

[His appetite is definitely faint, right now. Saki's arm around him is comforting though, so he doesn't hesitate to turn into it, wrapping one arm around her to make it a proper embrace.

His voice is quiet, barely audible, definitely not to anyone else.]

...I'm still going to survive.

[He understands now.]

[She knows that. But, she also knows...

She's selfish.]

I just didn't want to lose someone again.
