WEEK 1 MINGLE

As dawn approaches on Monday, the contestants are greeted to a beautiful, sunny day. It's the first full week of their time in the house, and after the rather troubling introduction on Saturday it's hard to know just what to expect

For the first week, the surrounding area seems quiet and peaceful. The weather stays a nice 75 degrees during the day, and it dips down to the 50s at night. Comfortable, and without any real disturbances from nature or house. It's almost as if the whole weekend was just a bad dream, and maybe the actual game won't be as bad as Dazai made it out to me.

However, those rules and profiles are still hanging in the living room, a constant reminder of the warnings that have been given. What will happen now? There haven't been any deaths at this containment site in years, but will that change with these new rules? Only time will tell.

Perhaps it's a good idea to enjoy this first week. Go swimming, watch a movie, or just hang out together and get to know each other better. You never know, this might be the last time to see some of the contestants.

But Bajee cooks his stupid meals with magic all the time? And people at the Foundation do it too? What's your problem.

[Nora's still prodding around the crab with his fist but at least he didn't finish the incantation. Not that he needs the incantation in the first place, so he just looks generally grouchy to have food in front of him and not be allowed to properly interact with it.

Besides, Ozaki's totally not magical, so he's just squinting at him.]

They know moderation, more likely than not. You're a bit too hasty to have this end with the crab in edible pieces.

Moderation's for lame people, there ain't ever any moderation needed in attack magic! You gotta use it to defeat everything!

[In...cluding...... dinner. Apparently. Leave it to this guy to view Dinner as an Opponent and this is why nobody ever tried to really teach him cooking, huh. He grumbles some more but he's been told he's too hasty about 5,000 times by now so he goes back to squinting at the crab itself for a moment.]

Doesn't it take a lot of fire to cook the shell, what's wrong with that??

I wasn't going to hit it that hard, I already cracked this stupid thing in the first place.

[So obviously he knows the feel of the shell by now, he still doesn't really see a problem here....... Granted, he has no idea how to actually cook crab, season it or anything it except straight up eating it. Grumble. Cerberus can sometimes learn new tricks, but it's better that Nora does the learning here.]
