WEEK 1 MINGLE

As dawn approaches on Monday, the contestants are greeted to a beautiful, sunny day. It's the first full week of their time in the house, and after the rather troubling introduction on Saturday it's hard to know just what to expect

For the first week, the surrounding area seems quiet and peaceful. The weather stays a nice 75 degrees during the day, and it dips down to the 50s at night. Comfortable, and without any real disturbances from nature or house. It's almost as if the whole weekend was just a bad dream, and maybe the actual game won't be as bad as Dazai made it out to me.

However, those rules and profiles are still hanging in the living room, a constant reminder of the warnings that have been given. What will happen now? There haven't been any deaths at this containment site in years, but will that change with these new rules? Only time will tell.

Perhaps it's a good idea to enjoy this first week. Go swimming, watch a movie, or just hang out together and get to know each other better. You never know, this might be the last time to see some of the contestants.

[Leo's a bit too lost in thought to notice anything amiss. He's thinking about his sister and how much he misses her. Without him sending money back home, is she doing okay? Is she worried about him? Has Libra told her he's missing from their reality? He sighs, trailing a hand in the water at his side.]

[Something falls from the sky. A silver colored ball, actually. A ball that yells

CANNON BAAAAAALLLLL

as it falls.

It's Silver, Silver is jumping in the pool from the roof.

Sorry Leo, were you trying to be deep and thoughtful?]

[eldritcheyes]

HOLY SHIT!

[It might be Leo's flailing or it might be the crazy splash, but either way Leo tumbles off the float and into the pool. He comes up spluttering with his hair plastered to his face and neck.]

Silver, you maniac! Did you really have to jump off the roof?!

[iblistriggered]

[Silver comes up for air, and his quills are also plastered on his face and in his eyes. He cackles like a madman (it sounds like he's being taking cues from Moriarty, actually...) and flips his spines back]

Of course I did! There's not a high dive, so I had to improvise!

[eldritcheyes]

At least you didn't land on me, your quills woulda turned me into a pincushion!

[Grinning, he reaches out and pokes Silver in the nose.]

And you didn't fail hard and hit the deck instead, so that's good.

[iblistriggered]

And popped the float, probably! [priorities???]

[his nose is booped, and he grins]

Aww, you don't have to worry about me. I would have caught myself before I splatted. I can fly, remember?

[eldritcheyes]

Yeah, which is pretty cool. I kinda wish I could do that, but I just have these things.

[He points at the Eyes.]

And everybody in HL wants to yank 'em outta my head.

I'm sure if my powers could be stolen, people would try that, too.

[ Silver levitates an inflatable ring patterned to look like a donut with sprinkles into the pool so he can float more easily]

But you can see the past and the future and all that stuff, right?

I haven't, at least not that I know, but people who know about the Eyes told me that's something they can do if you really know how to use them. I can do some crazy stuff, though. Like shuffle people's vision, make them see what I'm seeing, and I can track supersonic movement and see really tiny details you'd normally need heavy magnification to see.

Awww... so you can't see if we all manage to survive this thing? That's too bad. [he kicks his dumb little bare paw feet a little -- his gloves and boots are on the side of the pool] But being able to see microscopic stuff is neat!
