WEEK 1 MINGLE

As dawn approaches on Monday, the contestants are greeted to a beautiful, sunny day. It's the first full week of their time in the house, and after the rather troubling introduction on Saturday it's hard to know just what to expect

For the first week, the surrounding area seems quiet and peaceful. The weather stays a nice 75 degrees during the day, and it dips down to the 50s at night. Comfortable, and without any real disturbances from nature or house. It's almost as if the whole weekend was just a bad dream, and maybe the actual game won't be as bad as Dazai made it out to me.

However, those rules and profiles are still hanging in the living room, a constant reminder of the warnings that have been given. What will happen now? There haven't been any deaths at this containment site in years, but will that change with these new rules? Only time will tell.

Perhaps it's a good idea to enjoy this first week. Go swimming, watch a movie, or just hang out together and get to know each other better. You never know, this might be the last time to see some of the contestants.

If it makes you feel any better, I was dead for most of that time.

You'll notice the rules don't say the person who gets executed at the end of a trial will necessarily be the real killer. Apparently, not helping much with the investigation because you're too upset about the fact that someone you were talking to the day before just got murdered is "suspicious."
allmyfriendsaredead: ([Worry] "Where are you?")

So-

[Oh, that's horrifying.]

They killed you thinking you were the culprit?

To be fair, there were a strange number of coincidences that made me look like a likely suspect. According to some arguments, at least.

I see...

[ His expression dims a little as he looks down. ]

Any chance that... the actual culprit planned it that way?

It's possible, but I don't think she knew enough to be able to. And part of the problem was that we were missing some evidence, which I think would have made it clear it wasn't me.
