WEEK 1 MINGLE

As dawn approaches on Monday, the contestants are greeted to a beautiful, sunny day. It's the first full week of their time in the house, and after the rather troubling introduction on Saturday it's hard to know just what to expect

For the first week, the surrounding area seems quiet and peaceful. The weather stays a nice 75 degrees during the day, and it dips down to the 50s at night. Comfortable, and without any real disturbances from nature or house. It's almost as if the whole weekend was just a bad dream, and maybe the actual game won't be as bad as Dazai made it out to me.

However, those rules and profiles are still hanging in the living room, a constant reminder of the warnings that have been given. What will happen now? There haven't been any deaths at this containment site in years, but will that change with these new rules? Only time will tell.

Perhaps it's a good idea to enjoy this first week. Go swimming, watch a movie, or just hang out together and get to know each other better. You never know, this might be the last time to see some of the contestants.

[hearing the motive was definitely a lot to process which leads him heading outside to get some fresh air for a bit when he spots saki sitting with her eyes closed] What are you doing?

[She opens her eyes, looking up at him.]

Oh... Otani? I was just meditating a little.

[Again. Because once in the morning was not enough after that motive.]

Is that helping at all? [he wouldn't know since he's never really tried it before]

It does.

[And she offers a small smile.]

In order to use cantus, you have to be able to focus well. Meditation is a good way to clear the mind and help with that.

Cantus? [he looks a bit confused] I think I've heard that about meditation. I've never really tried it before though.

[allmyfriendsaredead]

Yes. You might know it better as psychokinesis.

[Maybe. Hopefully.]

It was taught to me from a young age. Would you like to give it a try?

[shortstacked]

Oh— yeah, kind of. I didn't know it had another name.

[he moves closer towards her and just gives a slight shrug] Yeah, sure. I don't see why not. So how do you do this?

It's what my people call it.

[But she'll pat the ground next to her.]

Do you know any good leg stretches, before we begin?

[shortstacked]

[he moves to take a seat beside her and at her words he gives a slight nod] Yeah, I know a few. You need to stretch first before all this?

[allmyfriendsaredead]

Yeah. You don't want your legs to cramp up while you're trying to meditate.

[She crosses one leg over the other, twisting to stretch her hips.]

Ah— right, of course. [he nods at that] I didn't think of that but it makes sense.
