WEEK 1 MINGLE

As dawn approaches on Monday, the contestants are greeted to a beautiful, sunny day. It's the first full week of their time in the house, and after the rather troubling introduction on Saturday it's hard to know just what to expect

For the first week, the surrounding area seems quiet and peaceful. The weather stays a nice 75 degrees during the day, and it dips down to the 50s at night. Comfortable, and without any real disturbances from nature or house. It's almost as if the whole weekend was just a bad dream, and maybe the actual game won't be as bad as Dazai made it out to me.

However, those rules and profiles are still hanging in the living room, a constant reminder of the warnings that have been given. What will happen now? There haven't been any deaths at this containment site in years, but will that change with these new rules? Only time will tell.

Perhaps it's a good idea to enjoy this first week. Go swimming, watch a movie, or just hang out together and get to know each other better. You never know, this might be the last time to see some of the contestants.

How the hell'm I supposed to know? We woulda had more menus and stuff before this-- Ooh.

These stupid profiles are probably part of the whole thing! They're still freakin' stupid but it all makes sense now!

Oh man, they're like character profiles in a game manual!

[He's staring out the window at the dog.]

Any idea who those shorts belong to?

These character profiles suck, I want a reset already!

[He's going to hold a grudge about the profiles forever and possibly make future ill-advised decisions about them. Obviously.]

Hmph, with our luck those are the Host's stupid shorts. I hope there's dog drool all over 'em.

What do they call that, a noogie? A willy? Who knows. Either way he'd deserve it!!

Nah, those are totally different. This would just be called "humiliation."

Humiliation's definitely what he deserves after all the shit he pulled on us.

Then maybe we should do the old "shaving cream in the hand while he sleeps, then tickle his nose" trick. And get it on video. And maybe use honey instead of shaving cream.

That's old? Must be, 'cause I've never heard of it. So, honey in the nose an' shaving cream to tickle with?

[Wait, how did he mess that part up. Why is he so bad at listening when he's excited about things.]

Nah, you put shaving cream in their hand while they're asleep, then you tickle their nose so they go to scratch and get a faceful of foam. If we do it with honey, it would be a seriously sticky mess.

Ha! So he'd get honey in his nose anyway! Sounds like some serious strategy.

[Yes, of course he's up for this.]

So we gotta find honey or something else really sticky, then wait for him to pass out. It won't hurt him, but he's gonna know we're not happy about this crap situation!

Hmph, he'd probably expect an attack in his sleep and have traps or something. That's what guys like that are usually like, but there should be some way to sneak it in...

We can't go after him right away, we gotta observe him.

[It's like trying to pull a prank on Steven, the guy's pretty wily. Leo doesn't want to hurt Dazai, just get him with an actual good-natured prank to see if he can laugh at himself. If he can, that might mean something.]

Ha, what d'ya think I've been doing this whole week?? If we're goin' to be stuck in a death game we gotta at least figure out the Host's weaknesses and make sure we know every little thing about him!

[And incidentally it's useful for pranks, apparently. Nora's not nearly so good-natured in his motives but it's fine (probably).]

Yeah, that's really true. But I don't wanna hurt him, he might be just as much a pawn in this as the rest of us. We don't know yet.

Hmph. Why do I get the feeling he ain't going to be as generous.

[JUST A GUT FEELING..... but his gut is practically its own character with its own trust sheet, so there.]

Right now, he knows way more than we do. So we gotta be careful, even if that means being at a disadvantage for a bit longer.

I can't believe his fashion sense is as bad as his taste in gameshows. But I can also believe it. Ugh.
