WEEK 1 MINGLE

As dawn approaches on Monday, the contestants are greeted to a beautiful, sunny day. It's the first full week of their time in the house, and after the rather troubling introduction on Saturday it's hard to know just what to expect

For the first week, the surrounding area seems quiet and peaceful. The weather stays a nice 75 degrees during the day, and it dips down to the 50s at night. Comfortable, and without any real disturbances from nature or house. It's almost as if the whole weekend was just a bad dream, and maybe the actual game won't be as bad as Dazai made it out to me.

However, those rules and profiles are still hanging in the living room, a constant reminder of the warnings that have been given. What will happen now? There haven't been any deaths at this containment site in years, but will that change with these new rules? Only time will tell.

Perhaps it's a good idea to enjoy this first week. Go swimming, watch a movie, or just hang out together and get to know each other better. You never know, this might be the last time to see some of the contestants.

I mean, if this was war, sure. But they probably think the same way regardless.

And more than that, if they could choose who to bring, they could have avoided bringing in people who have no powers.

The proposal is at least an interesting one.

Maybe, but it's not a good one.

I think it's a weak one, though. They could do better. And I don't believe they can do this, anyway.

[momsters]

Oh, I think they'd be able to do it in my case.

[A beat.]

But what would you kill for? And don't say nothing, that's very boring.

[dereban]

What, is that person here?

[ She can't help but ask, but okay. ]

Sorry, but I have a boring answer regardless of it being nothing-- "self defense".

[momsters]

Mm, she's never too far away. Never leaves me alone....

[Azula pls.]

So you wouldn't even kill if someone was threatening to take the lives of everyone precious to you. That's cold.

[dereban]

[ . . .

Hearing that makes her wonder, a little. But she isn't going to say anything. Not aloud. ]

If someone was making that threat, I'd sock them in the face, but I sure as hell wouldn't kill them. I want them to suffer. They can't suffer through death.

[momsters]

[And now she's just LAUGHING.]

You'd rather torture than kill. Aren't you the benevolent creature.

[dereban]

I never said I was kind to my enemies. I don't like people messing with the ones I care about. Besides, they would have deserved it.

[momsters]

Hmm. And what kind of torture would you inflict? I'm rather curious now.

[dereban]

It depends on the person and what they attempted to do. I'm not a simple girl that's going to just use torture devices or anything like that. That just isn't my style.
