WEEK 5 AFTERPARTY(?)
After all of that, maybe their spirits were on the edge of breaking down. Or maybe they just needed time to process what had just happened.
But either way, in the wake of the trial, it was quiet.🗈

There wasn't an after-party this time. Though there probably should be, some time to connect between the remaining pieces, the people who would have arranged it... all needed some time alone. But there is a chance to connect, even if it isn't via a party.

[MORIARTY, SHE DISAPPROVES.
AND SHE'S GOING TO ASSUME,]
Despite all that, my guess is that you didn't succeed, because if I had to guess, you might actually feel a little bad bragging about it if you actually lost this girl!
What happened?

Though oddly enough, he just laughs.]
Of course! My only miscalculation was the depths of my own feelings.
...And that my Master was not one to lay down and die so easily.
That Shinjuku was cut off from the world itself, becoming a fictional city.
Using the strangeness of the singularity itself - and the help of two meddling authors - she called down countless phantasmal spirits of many, many detective novels...and with their backing, tricked me into proclaiming I was the culprit, and losing my ability as the good one!
Hahaha! All for a cut off fragment of a world that would never effect anything! And yet, she managed to trick me, Moriarty...!
[His smile is....fond. And more than that...
...It's clear he's proud.]
...And because...she was sure that I...still cared about her. That I had fun at her side, and wasn't able to forget it. That the feeling of being on the side of justice was...better than I had ever expected!
So, I took my loss to her - my Master - gracefully.
After all, she was The Detective.

You are so weird. You ate Sherlock, to prove a point, then got owned by the point you were trying to prove in the first place...
And despite all of the over the top evil laughs and dark smiles to get through the point that you're a bad guy... What you took from that whole adventure was it was fun and you made friends along the way.
[she pauses.]
I'm really glad that whole "I ate Sherlock" thing didn't stick, and that servants are weird enough that it doesn't even seem to matter? You made a-- fictional Shinjuku? I don't know. I don't get it.
But I guess I already figured you were a strange Ojiisan.

I see now why Holmes liked you so much!
I believe you would like Ritsuka. It seems you're both similar to each other, somehow.

[she straightens her hair.]
If you wanted me to stop calling you ojiisan, this isn't helping, you know.

I've come to accept it! I will allow you to call me that, even though I detest it!
...But only you, understand?! If it spreads, I'll hold you accountable for it!

Buuuuut. I dragged you earlier, but I've done some pretty crazy things. I told Sherlock about it, but me and my friends destroyed the Holy Grail once.
Hopefully forever.
And we had a pretty convoluted plan in the middle of our plot, too. So, whether I want to admit it or not... the great Phantom Thieves are probably more similar to your style of planning than I'd like to admit.
