WEEK 5 AFTERPARTY(?)

After all of that, maybe their spirits were on the edge of breaking down. Or maybe they just needed time to process what had just happened.

But either way, in the wake of the trial, it was quiet.🗈

There wasn't an after-party this time. Though there probably should be, some time to connect between the remaining pieces, the people who would have arranged it... all needed some time alone. But there is a chance to connect, even if it isn't via a party.

[No one will see Erhard outside of his room for at least the rest of Saturday and all of Sunday. He won't answer any knocking or verbal requests, but his door remains unlocked.

He's expecting at least a few people want to take a shot at him. He won't fight it.]

[Takumi doesn't talk to him, but a few times on Sunday he comes in with food, leaving it on the desk and taking away anything left uneaten.]

[For a while after the trial ends, Vinea is everywhere. Not at once, that would be silly, but she's frantically running all over the mansion. Her panicked shouts of "My lady?!" and "Nirrti-sama!" leave no doubt as to why.

Eventually she settles down on the balcony, where she can be found leaning on the railing, staring out into the distance.

She doesn't know what to do, on multiple levels.]

[Joey feels like she should talk to Vinea after the mess the witches made of themselves at the end. It also doesn't take a detective to figure out that Vinea can't actually find Nirrti.]

[...Gebura also finds herself at the balcony eventually. ...She nods to acknowledge Vinea's presence, but doesn't actually say anything beyond that. Instead, she sits down on a seat near the railing, pulls out a cigarette, lights it, and takes it in, breathing smoke away from the building periodically as she does so.

Vinea... probably doesn't want to talk to her, so she won't speak without prompted to. Heck, even being here is probably bothering Vinea too, but... This really is the best place for a cigarette in the end.]

[saturday evening, Ann is making some coffee.

but it's hard to focus on coffee making when she's... intermittently sobbing.

[ Caim himself, similarly to Vinea can be found pretty much everywhere; looking like a kicked puppy unsure of what exactly to do without their master. It's very quiet and subdued but there's definitely something forlorn about his expression. Later on, however, he can primarily be found on the docks as well as the kitchen, where he seems to be making a lot of food. There's so much. ]

[It's late. Very late. Late enough he expected most everyone else to be in bed. But he had to come out of his hiding place to eat eventually- Toby insisted.]

...that's a lot of food.

[Takumi... isn't up for talking with anyone right now. He almost died. They ALL almost died. ANd after seeing Anon's horrific execution he's just mentally exhausted. So he takes Toby and vanishes away somewhere.

Where? The bar, but he's not drinking. Or even noticeable at first considering he's under the counter with some of the drink crates pulled in, making a little den. But Toby's soft attempts to sing to him might lead someone to his hiding place if they try hard enough.

On Sunday he's outside, near the garden, eyes closed]

"Everything will surely be alright."

[He remembered now where he heard that: from the anime that the other Syaoran was in. Sakura said it. Takumi doesn't know why that message was left for him- if there's some hidden puzzle meaning? Or just to bolster his fading will. But-]

Show me what I need to find.

[He spends the day wandering the grounds, letting his gut tell him where to go. His main job back home was finding lost items, after all. By evening he's in the sitting room, watching CCS and seeing if inspiration will strike.]

[Eventually, she'll get up and go bother other people. For a fair bit of Saturday, though, she can be found just lying on the floor of the Sitting Room like a piece of garbage, zoning out and staring up at the ceiling.]

[After the trial, Moriarty is at the bar, making himself drinks - or anyone who asks who isn't young.

...Heck, he'll make the young people drinks too - just virgin versions, because he may be Evil but he's not a total monster who supports underaged drinking.

...His mustache is also ink blue, along with some stains on his mouth, due to fucking chomping a pen at trial.

On Sunday, he seems like he's getting a bit peppier - and, more importantly, people can catch him in the first floor library reading a certain book...]

Sunday pt. 2

[After his talks with Caim and Joey, Takumi decides to finally do what he first considered weeks ago. There would probably More Everything on Monday, so before bed on Sunday seemed the best time.

So he's in his room, door closed, books laid out on all surfaces to check and double check that he had the right title.]

Certainty. Everything will certainly be alright.

[He looks over to where Toby is recording.]

If this fails don't tell anyone. And don't laugh!

[The digivice plays a few playful notes, sounding very much like laughter]

"I call for you, Lambdadelta, the Witch of Certainty, to appear!"
