Another trial, another horrible outcome.

This time, it affected so many people...and yet, they still weren't done.
Who would be killed next?
Would they be able...to handle whatever happened?🗈

Still, things were just the same as they had been the past few weeks.

The goats and servants were still around, and so too were the witches.
It was all becoming routine at this point.
Was that a good thing, or a bad one...?
It was...too hard to tell, now...

...Either way, they were now closer to the end.
So, like always...they had to see it through.

[ On Thursday afternoon, Sakura is in the sitting room. She has about 10 rolls of ribbons next to her and is aimlessly braiding them together in patterned ropes.

Also next to her is...some wine. It's been opened. ]

...do you like to drink? I tried a little, and I don't think it's for me.

[ Yesterday was not the best time to start drinking. Luckily she only had, like, a sip. ]

[Joey can't tell whether it's more significant that there's wine there or that it matches Sakura's hair.]

[She comes in and sits down next to Sakura, picking up some ribbon herself.]

None for me, but someone who hasn't seen my lack of a driver's license gave me some blue liquor, for some reason. I wonder if it's some kind of sympathy gift for dealing with all that...

I shouldn't really be having this easier, to tell you the truth...so I wonder why it was given to us.

[ She turned 17 at the Foundation, but 17 is not 20. ]

I mean if it's just a "guest hospitality" thing I guess I'm appreciative?

I suppose, yes. I just find it strange, especially why they sent me wine and rolls of ribbons.

What does it taste like? I got one with peaches on it.

Th-that's okay, um, I'm sure I can find someone else to give it to.

Grape-flavored wine.

I would think so. It's why drinking is so popular. Maybe this just isn't my flavor.

[ WELL SHE MEANT THE LIQUOR but she's fine with ribbons too so she'll politely pretend that's what she meant all along ]
