Another week dawned.

But after the events at the trial, more than a few people would have wanted for time to stop still.

In this game, even unshakable loyalties....could be broken.🗈

If that were the case, then what was stopping even more horrible crimes from happening this thursday night?
And they knew they could do nothing to stop it from happening.

...Still, they had to continue the game, until one or both of the Witches admitted defeat, or the game itself came to a close.

Yet, they also felt as if something might change. Some big reveal felt as if it was just around the corner....but for now, it seemed as if they had to play the waiting game.

No matter how awful that felt.

I don't think it's her treasure that she's after. She said she tossed away her humanity on purpose. It sounds like the pain she went through to become a Witch was better than the pain she went through while she was human....

Hmm, do you think her Treasure is her humanity? Or maybe that name that we keep not hearing? Either way, I think you're probably right. She's all in on being a Witch, and I don't think any of us are going to change her mind as we are now.

[He gives a little amused hum, looking around a bit and then straight back at Sora. He can pretty much guess the amount of people who have tried already.]

I don't think it's either of those. I think losing it is why she didn't want to be human, but I think she's after something else by becoming a witch.

[ There's a pause before he rubs the back of his head ]

These are just guesses though. She told me she saw her humanity as a weakness and didn't really like it when I was trying to ask about what happened...

[ Hm ]

Do you think her name was taken or she's linked to the memories we keep seeing in the theater?

I think she is those memories, or was at one point.

I've been wondering it for awhile: if this place was built just for the Game then why would anything be here that neither had anything to do with? When she taunted us to give into her to escape pain it just made it obvious.

A Witch to blame her misfortune on. Either she is the girl, or the girl created her. That's my theory.

[ . . . . ] A creation of her own sins. [ He says that in a way that kind of seems painful, and it shows in his expression and his voice. ] I think you're right that the girl is related to the Witch, but. . . then that begs the question as to why she wants our help. For us to hear her story.

They might not be the same person any more. Like how Watanuki and WATANUKI [he uses finger quotes for the Witch] are separate names. Am I making sense?

If it is her... then we have to keep her from finding the shards of her past, right?

If she finds them she'd probably try to destroy them.

Or use them to get something maybe.

I hope no one has tried to ask her about those memories directly.

...Vinea was there both times we solved the riddles, so we can be fairly certain that someone on her side knows about them.

On that note, If something were to happen to me, someone will need to get the item before they clean out the room. I would prefer to leave it in a more accessible place, but it's not safe.

What do you think is at stake for her, then?

Power or revenge maybe? Takumi and Anon seem to think she's the same girl from those memories... the one that's crying.

I think she probably is too. Which is why I'd be surprised if her goal was something that simple and petty, honestly.

[keydomhearts]

She said she was weak before... and it sounds like it was really painful for her.

[ So it does add up. ]

I don't know... She seems to like being petty. I still don't know how much of it is an act though.

[ He wiggles his fingers at that. ]

If her Witch's power is to undo misfortune, she might want to undo what happened to her family.

I don't know if it's that. It sounds like she's trying to distance herself from everything that happened while she's human.
