Finally, the whole truth of this affair had come out.

The Witch they had known as Yuuko was actually Nirrti, the Witch of Misfortune.
And Watanuki was actually the real Witch of Dimensions, as the two of them fought over the power that title brought, as well as the name and identity of a long dead woman...🗈

Though things had finally changed, perhaps it wouldn't be for the better. Nirrti herself seemed much different than how she was before, and Watanuki was the one who had brought all of them here...with that in mind, it was hard to tell how their future would shake out...

However, it wasn't all bad. A few more places were open to them, the second floor becoming a much more inviting place to be, and there was still everything they had gotten used to before. And now, they all knew that Nirrti's promises were nothing but empty air...

...or, perhaps, now they would merely change.

Eh? But I'm not sure what I'm good at yet.

You like jellyfish right? Try a fishing game.

[clearumbrella]

Yes! That's a good idea, Koide-san~!

[ He scans the arcade until he spots a fishing game. He nods his head toward it. ] How about this one?

[sotoshini]

Sure. [ Following, why not. ]

There's a lot more than I thought there would be. [ Looking to the left of where Clear's standing at to see: Ecco the Dolphin. That sounds familiar, but he can't remember why. ]

[clearumbrella]

[ He's about to press start on the machine when notices Natsuno's gaze wandering. That sounds like another water game. Maybe it's good enough? ]

... Would you like me to play that game instead, Koide-san?

[sotoshini]

...yeah. [ Moving aside. It'll come to him eventually, but some reason he feels like he knows this game intimately. ]

[clearumbrella]

Then, I'll do my best. [ A decisive, cheerful nod before he goes to the controls. Cue the game starting, a few test flicks of the controls, and the dolphin is off!

As soon as he comes to some jellyfish, Clear sparkles. ] Uwaa!! Koide-san, Koide-san! There are jellyfish!

[ Blinking at Clear, looking at the pixel jellyfish on the screen, then back at him. He sighs, but it sounds nostalgic more than exasperated. ]

Mmn, there are. Do you just...swim around?

[clearumbrella]

Yes, I think so. This is a very relaxing game, isn't it? [ He has the dolphin bump into the jellyfish and lets out a quiet "ah!" when it seems like the dolphin is injured.

One quiet "I'm sorry" later and he leisurely resumes his quest to get further in the game. ]

Seems that way but... I think I've seen this before and it gets pretty weird. [ This all seems pretty tame so far though? Maybe he's getting two games mixed up. ]

[clearumbrella]

Does it? But it seems so peaceful. [ He sounds skeptical and then

he runs into the jellyfish a few more time and the dolphin dies ] Ecco-san!!

[sotoshini]

...yeah. I think that happens a lot in this game. There are probably sharks too.

[ Awkwardly pats clear on the shoulder before thinking better of it. ]

[clearumbrella]

[ It's okay, Natsuno. He wouldn't think anything of a shoulder pat. ]

Sharks?

[sotoshini]

[ Phew. ]

Yeah. You know, the fish with sets of pointed teeth? [ Running his tongue over his fangs is coincidental, surely. ]

[clearumbrella]

Yes! [ And then, a headtilt. ]

You have very sharp canines, Koide-san.

[sotoshini]

Only sometimes. [ Looking back at the screen now with a wry smile. ]

[clearumbrella]

Eh? Is that so?

[ He reaches up to feel his mask, right where his mouth should be. ]

[sotoshini]

Mhmm. [ Just watching this mask touching because he feels like he mentions it Clear will stop. Maybe he'll get some type of explanation this way. ]

[clearumbrella]

[ Oh Natsuno. He stops on his own, but he actually comments on it himself. ]

Koide-san... [ Suddenly, his voice is hushed. ] Is it strange if my teeth aren't the same way?

[sotoshini]

Ha, no. It's the other way around. [ Looking amused over here in spite of himself. ]
