Finally, the whole truth of this affair had come out.

The Witch they had known as Yuuko was actually Nirrti, the Witch of Misfortune.
And Watanuki was actually the real Witch of Dimensions, as the two of them fought over the power that title brought, as well as the name and identity of a long dead woman...🗈

Though things had finally changed, perhaps it wouldn't be for the better. Nirrti herself seemed much different than how she was before, and Watanuki was the one who had brought all of them here...with that in mind, it was hard to tell how their future would shake out...

However, it wasn't all bad. A few more places were open to them, the second floor becoming a much more inviting place to be, and there was still everything they had gotten used to before. And now, they all knew that Nirrti's promises were nothing but empty air...

...or, perhaps, now they would merely change.

Reaching out to gently shove him. There's gentleness there, and possibly something fond as he just faintly smirks. ]

We could maybe try a nice meal together before you start cataloging that kind of information?

[The shove and the smirk draw a soft laugh out of him and a playful smile. It softens into something gentler at Akira's suggestion.]

...I wouldn't mind that.

He stares for a moment, his cheeks heating up. Guess who hadn't thought he would actually agree...? There's a slight shift in his stance before Akira glances to the side... and then looks back to Kurama's face.

There's a faintly awkward smile as he twists a strand of bangs. ]

Really? [ soft, gentle 'heh' ] ... I look forward to it.

[Not agree? When Akira finally overcame the Guts stat gate to actually ask? Perish the thought.

And the blush is cute.

Kurama smiles back gently.]

Really. And so do I.

[ Stat gates are always so unfair.

He glances to the side for a moment...

... and then leans up to very gently kiss his cheek. ]

[Oh.

Kurama definitely wasn't expecting that. His eyes widen in surprise for a moment before his entire expression softens and warms more.

He reaches out to catch Akira's hand and squeezes it gently.]

[ He releases a soft breath and returns the squeeze to Kurama's hand. After glancing to the side, he gently tugs it. ]

Wanna go get something to drink?

[ After all that running, he could use some water... ]
