Finally, the whole truth of this affair had come out.

The Witch they had known as Yuuko was actually Nirrti, the Witch of Misfortune.
And Watanuki was actually the real Witch of Dimensions, as the two of them fought over the power that title brought, as well as the name and identity of a long dead woman...🗈

Though things had finally changed, perhaps it wouldn't be for the better. Nirrti herself seemed much different than how she was before, and Watanuki was the one who had brought all of them here...with that in mind, it was hard to tell how their future would shake out...

However, it wasn't all bad. A few more places were open to them, the second floor becoming a much more inviting place to be, and there was still everything they had gotten used to before. And now, they all knew that Nirrti's promises were nothing but empty air...

...or, perhaps, now they would merely change.

That's fair. To be honest... I'd bet if there was a better way to do this, I'm certain that he would have chosen that option. But yeah. Not all witches are the same. Even Yuuko-san- the real one... She was kind. She always helped us.

I admit, I don't know any personally. So all that was my first experience.

Maybe I should introduce you to Sakura at some point. She's really nice.

[ And is also extremely powerful as well. ]

Sakura? [Shadow pulls on his haori a bit] Like these flowers?

She was named after them, yes. She's a princess from another world that I met. [ There's fondness in his voice as he talks about her. ] Kimihiro knows her, too. Even though she's very powerful, she's kind. Kinder than anyone. She could speak to things that people normally couldn't speak to and sympathize with them. It was very difficult for anyone to hate her, and very difficult for her to hate anyone.

Yeah. It wasn't her only ability, since she could also see spirits like me and Kimihiro can, but... yeah. And if she wasn't kind, I wouldn't love her like I do.

While Kimihiro might be the closest to me... Sakura is the person who's the most important to me. The last time I saw here, we confessed to each other.

... I admit I don't know those kinds of feelings. But I hope you get to see her again soon.

I hope so, too. And I will, someday. I believe in it.

There's another hedgehog I know that would probably say something like "If you believe in it enough, it will come true".

That's a pretty nice sentiment. Although it could be bad for people who aren't so nice.

Everyone gets a fair shake if they put the work in. Even bad people.
