Week Two Afterparty: For the people who are Still Alive
That afternoon could not be more confusing.
Not only was the witch who called herself Yuuko a fake, but it turned out the witch who communicated through bird and notes was none other than one of the pieces. And the suffering... Oh, the suffering...
At least nobody else died for now...π
In spite of the lack of death, Wheatley was about as shaken up as everyone else. If he wasn't sure he was going to die here before, he is definitely certain now.
But he wasn't going to try and let it get to him. Even if he kind of wished he could consume things in the real world, he's still clinging to the small victory they had in sparing everyone.
On that note, he had the goats prepare a feast, turning the dining room table into a buffet table. There was turkey, fish, granola bars, fish shaped crackers, a giant bowl of frosted flakes, Macaroni and cheese with chunks of fish, fish shaped granola bars... Look, Wheatley didn't quite understand what humans liked to eat at these things, but at least it looks professional.
There's even a large cake in the center of the table. It's covered in chocolate frosting, strawberries, and has a lovely message written in bold white frosting: "WE SURVIVED".

Yes, neither have I. That's why I made one myself.

Why did you sing this during...all of that? [ That's a fitting description for that theatre they were forced to endure. ]
no subject
I wanted to help.
no subject
And what about now?

Is that the same reason for the umbrella, too?
no subject
No.

Tick, tock, tick, tock. Augh, fine. ]
...why did you open up a clear umbrella while it's sunny out?
no subject
[ Without second-guessing a thing, he moves his umbrella so it's over Natsuno's head. ]
1/2
[ It takes a second, but then Natsuno just laughs. ]

Thanks, but the sun doesn't actually bother me too much.
no subject
I see. [ Clear pulls the umbrella back and places a hand over his heart. ] If it becomes a bother, please tell me right away. I'd be happy to share my umbrella with you.
no subject
Clear, right? Are you Japanese?
no subject
No.
no subject
I see. You reminded of the obaasan who used to hang out at the stationary store in Sotoba. [ Still sitting, he mirrors Clear's gesture from moments ago; hand over his heart. ]

Where are you from? Before SCP and this...nonsense.
no subject
Before we came here, I lived on an island!
no subject
So this is pretty normal for you, then. [ Has he given up? He might have given up. ]

It wasn't like this in Midorijima.
no subject
Mission accomplished, that's a Japanese name if he's ever heard of one. His time wasn't completely wasted. ]
I'm not surprised. A lot of people don't seem to know what to think of you, though.
