Week Two Afterparty: For the people who are Still Alive
That afternoon could not be more confusing.
Not only was the witch who called herself Yuuko a fake, but it turned out the witch who communicated through bird and notes was none other than one of the pieces. And the suffering... Oh, the suffering...
At least nobody else died for now...🗈
In spite of the lack of death, Wheatley was about as shaken up as everyone else. If he wasn't sure he was going to die here before, he is definitely certain now.
But he wasn't going to try and let it get to him. Even if he kind of wished he could consume things in the real world, he's still clinging to the small victory they had in sparing everyone.
On that note, he had the goats prepare a feast, turning the dining room table into a buffet table. There was turkey, fish, granola bars, fish shaped crackers, a giant bowl of frosted flakes, Macaroni and cheese with chunks of fish, fish shaped granola bars... Look, Wheatley didn't quite understand what humans liked to eat at these things, but at least it looks professional.
There's even a large cake in the center of the table. It's covered in chocolate frosting, strawberries, and has a lovely message written in bold white frosting: "WE SURVIVED".

I thought they would be fine. Apparently I was wrong.
And yes, I was weaker as a Piece. That was the 'me' of 100 years ago. I was pretty weak then.
[He'll answer the others in a moment.]

[He seems to be secondhand embarrassed for him........]

I always try to speak plainly when I can, you should know! Unlike some weird Witches I know...
And also, you're totally running away from questions again after you said you wouldn't.
[Tell him about Nirrti, you unnecessarily ninja noodle.]

Yes, I have the powers. For now. Nirrti has the face because I didn't claim the face for my own. I kept my own appearance.

[Just!! Saying!! He asked a lot of questions and it's still a mess around here!!]
Anyway, I thought you said it was supposed to be a package deal.
Is it all split up because you guys are still in the middle of the Game, or for some other reason?

[Anon, that's not the point....... why is he like this.]
It's almost a little like home, except I think the Witches might wipe the floor with God back there.
He thinks he's a big shot, but I'd like to see him try and go toe-to-toe with you guys!

Besides, you must have already used the power of Dimensions to get to us.

[Example A: Shadow.]

What exactly can Nirrti do? Besides, let's see, steal names, sort of kill you a bunch of times, steal your Pieces and summon demons, and... actually, we don't know a lot about what she can really do, do we?
no subject
So yes, I did choose you all for specific reasons. Though I still can't tell most of you why I chose you. ...I suppose I could tell you why I chose the ones removed from play, since they can't affect the game further.
I'm...not entirely sure what 'misfortune' is fully capable of. I have only seen some of what it can do.
no subject
[Most, apparently, not including himself. Because he seems perfectly pleased with the whole thing.]
But you should tell me about why you chose some of the ex-Pieces! And also all about Misfortune. I think it's a good idea to share some more of your strategy, now that we've seen what it can do.
[AKA now that they've all seen a near-disaster involving literally everyone and also several dead people.]

Karen-san is likewise quite intelligent, and is pretty good at piecing together puzzles. Plus she is quite compassionate, and is less likely to get on someone's nerves when compared to Erika-san.
Makoto-san tends to pay close attention to conversations and details. Plus people tend to let their guard down around her, since they assume she is a 'weak, blind girl who can't do anything'. I thought she might be able to root out details in a case that others may miss.
As for how Misfortune works...from what I have seen, it's just 'can make bad things happen, or can prevent bad things from happening.'

[Always here to drag the dead. That's him. At least he just seems bemused rather than totally condescending.]
Though I guess all the puzzle-solvers and detectives kind of have a target on their backs at this rate. [Anon, you painted one of them??] Come to think of it, we still have no idea what happened to Makoto, do we? Did she run away into the forest or something...
That's actually a pretty powerful ability, though. I guess all Witches can manipulate reality, but she can actually manipulate the way reality is shaped. Luck manipulation is no joke!
